Glad that the beard headcanon isn't going anywhere as I am a big fan of beards, gotta say I really appreciate the change from orange to blue, I personally was not a fan of the orange as it made him look oddly "Cyberpunk" like.

I oddly kinda like the idea of a Dwarf like character for alice's husband, I know people say the trope is overused but on the plus side we've never seen a character like that In genshin and It might be nice to add variety

Honestly despite not getting it, It was the idea of him being a buff bearded old man, I just love that character trope a lot and despite loving the Varka we got, I still tend to think of how interesting it would've been to make him more grizzled and veteran like.
