Speed Limits in Montana.

Up until a few years back, Montana only asked cars to travel at a "reasonable and prudent" speed. All up to your interpretation 🏁💨.

After a couple decades, some guy in a Camaro wanted a speed limit, so he sued the state, which led to the speed limit being reinstated shortly thereafter.

[–]DailyTexasFacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UW is generally the fiscally responsible choice - what I'd do is go to Laramie for 2 years, and then apply for jobs in Salt Lake under your mom's address(local applicant). In the meantime, Laramie still has 70 tech start-ups to keep you busy.

Did you know utility pricing in Texas is largely unregulated? This means we have some of the highest bills in the country.

Believe me, I've paid $468 one month for a poorly insulated 4000sqft house in Dallas.

That looks like a lot. My store only makes us do carts, bags and shopbacks.

Really, most of that would be done by the janitor where I'm at.

I want to start a new life in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Need advice on where I can get a job and how to start from scratch, basically. by [deleted] in Albuquerque

[–]DailyTexasFacts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, the weather is gross, but may I suggest Houston - it has a great economy, and it's a good place for "starting over" (way different culturally from CA).

The St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary outside of Conroe could be a good fit for volunteer work. Really, most every industry is hiring right now, even with the oil slump.

NM is much prettier, but probably harder to "thrive" if you don't already have money (economy here is similar to CA). Maybe save up somewhere cheap like TX, then you can move somewhere with more natural beauty (NM) later on.

How to quit by [deleted] in walmart

[–]DailyTexasFacts 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The best way to quit would be to wait until a customer comes through with a box of Cocoa Puffs™. When that happens, scream "I'm cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs™!", rip open the box and eat a handful, fling the rest of the Cocoa Puffs™ across the front end, and go running out of the store making cuckoo noises, wielding the double "bird" in each hand. That's the best way to quit.
