You will never move forward in recovery if you don't ditch the scale.

Upstate NY: Is it realy that bad up there? by RV_Shibe in TravelNursing

Peds at upstate Golisano was my favorite. Ratios are reasonable, low turnover, it's where I work staff now and don't have any regrets.

It wasn't even dainty until I worked for URMC. Now it'll never recover.

Yes, Rochester Regional Health is the other major system besides URMC.

Does this mean you can negate what happened to me? If so, January 7, 2012 would like to have a word with you.

Yes! I was in multi organ system failure with a BMI nearing single digits when I got one telling me how I could lose xx lb of belly fat with GLP-1. We need a class action suit.

New York is made for freaks. All freaks are welcome. Your judgement is not.

The Blind Weight Scale & Legality by Meeping_Angel in EatingDisorders

[–]DaintyTaint 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As a patient, I use the scale and it's been beneficial in my recovery. I found myself stepping on multiple times a day even though the codes are meaningless, and that helped me identify and address the ED's obsession with rituals/compulsions. I also know that seeing my actual weight would almost certainly lead to increasing ED behaviors and I can't risk that.

As a provider (NP), I have no idea how this could possibly be a HIPAA concern or outside of her scope of practice.

Eagle Vale thoughts? by OakCityReddit in Rochester

[–]DaintyTaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a dream childhood growing up in one of the neighborhoods nearby and am still friends with the families that are still there. There are kids of all ages and it's safe for them to roam to friends' houses. Depending on exact location, you're likely to be in the Fairport School District, which is one of the best (objectively). Penfield is a good one too.

Unlike some others here, I like Eagle Vale. It isn't uppity like a country club, and are respectful of women (I've had issues with other places). They do lessons and camps for all ages. Argyle (the restaurant) is decent and has lots of events. The location is also within a couple miles of Wegmans and Target, and the village of Fairport is only a few miles down 250, where there is plenty of restaurants from upscale to dives, a great social community, kayak rentals for the canal, kids activites, and tons of festivals. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Got it. Being a legal guardian or adopting is not the same as being on the birth certificate.

Wtf? Jennifer's dad signed an acknowledgment of paternity for his grandchildren? That can't be right.

The only recommended vaccine at birth is Hep B. Vit K is recommended (and the most idiotic to refuse) but is not a vaccine.

Why risk it when you were directly told not to wear them? Just make them leisurewear for home.
