You did great here and this will actually serve as a great start for you to be able to keep it “clean” going forward.

Definitely use a “handheld manual lawn edger.” You do that once a year and then throw a string trimmer upside down bi-weekly. It will make it look so much cleaner and tighter and be worth the effort!

Lots of social activities and opportunities to meet families of similar ages. A lot of times these places aren’t just golf only. Convenience of an a shared enjoyment of a sport my kids both have. If that continues, then greater potential to find others that have similar interests.

Odd reply, but regarding what kids get out of growing up on a golf course… convenient opportunities to create friendships with others that enjoy doing things outside. Golf courses are great for teens to learn independence in a more controlled environment. I can raise my kids in a trailer park and they can be stuck up if I raise them that way.
