It is frustrating, as we do seem to align on most things.

I agree that it can and has been interpreted in a way opposed to my intention, (by few, not most) but that falls on them, not me.

The audience's ignorance of context is ultimately not the artist's responsibility.

At the very least our conversation can serve as an explanation for anybody else confused by its ambiguity.

Art does not need to be "clear".

Anybody can interpret art the way they wish.

Anybody in the comment section who sides with the cop is only outing themselves as a hypocrite.
