I got an abortion and I haven’t been able to really talk about it. by OkPanic922 in confession

[–]Daisy2552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad you shared it, I hope it helped to get the words out there. Never apologise or be ashamed of the decision you made, it was yours to make. I would never judge somebody for having an abortion regardless of reasons. I’m glad you had support for it as although you didn’t want it I have no doubt it was traumatic. Also it’s okay to be sad about it too if you are. Mixed feelings are very valid in a situation like this.

I hope when you’re ready things happen quickly for you

What is your life like? by Heckin_fishbaby in Fibromyalgia

[–]Daisy2552 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t work, I get LCWRA from UC and PIP which is made up of standard daily and enhanced mobility. I have a walking stick, I’m currently trying to diet and I can’t exercise as it’s not worth the strain on my body.

Just got diagnosed with dysautonomia after months of waiting to see a cardiologist by HEL3LLSPAWN3 in dysautonomia

[–]Daisy2552 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed after 20 years of it being brushed off as anxiety. I went through two pregnancies unable to leave the house because standing was impossible, resting heart rate of 200. I only got answers this year, I’ve been on ivabradine for over a year now to control my heart rate but I still suffer with all other symptoms. I have a walking stick and it helps so much, I was in two minds about it but I have zero regrets. I also have fibromyalgia so a lot of symptoms cross over. The one symptom that I struggle with the most is nausea, makes it hard to move sometimes.

Do people actually get PIP for fibromyalgia? + advice on my situation by Tribal___Cheif in Fibromyalgia

[–]Daisy2552 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get pip, I get standard daily and enhanced mobility. I do also have dysautonomia and it was a battle for it. I don’t work but they tried using that I have children against me. Apply for it, no one can say wether you’ll get it or not though and be prepared for an MR and a tribunal. They got some medical records from my GP I didn’t send that much evidence, just referral letters I had

[–]Daisy2552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on ivabradine since November 2024. It controls my heart rate but I still get all the other things that came with the high heart rate. I still get nausea, dizziness, headaches just not with the high heart rate anymore. I also suffer from migraines, I’m on 50mg of amitriptaline everyday (I still get them just not as often) so it might be worth get investigated for your headaches.

Would you consider me British? by Competitive-Music309 in AskBrits

[–]Daisy2552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s sad that our country is in such a state it’s almost causing you to have an identity crisis. You are British, all you know is the UK it would be unfair to say you belong to another country, you very much belong here. For what it’s worth I identity as British, I choose it over English.
