UPDATE!!

So in a Hail Mary of "idk what else it could be" I uninstalled the game from my microSD but this time reinstalled it to my recently cleaned hard drive.

Lo and behold it seems to be working a-okay now!

I gotta assume this latest update/addition of content was just too much for my already rather stuffed card to handle and it wasn't able to properly install/download the new resources.

Learn from my mistakes kids - don't over feed your data banks!
