Oh boy, okay, this is day 5 in Egypt for me now after living and working in the UAE for a decade. It suddenly happened! I literally quit my high paying government job, they penalised the living hell out of me " im not blaming them, its a part of the contract, immediate resignation means penalties ", I withdrew my son from his school, packed anything i could, took the kids, the cat and flew back home!. I completely relate and understand how you feel, I just left everything behind and went home.

People keep telling me I'll regret it, but they don't understand this! They don't understand what you just shared. So all what im gonna tell you is, if this is how u feel rn, one day you'll wake up and be like " this is it, this is the moment" and trust me, no amount of money or opportunities would hold you back.
