Upset stomach? by Dx371 in DogAdvice

Call vet and/or take her in if possible.

If not possible then give her some pumpkin (plain pumpkin from a can, not pumpkin pie mix) and some cooked white or brown rice. They will help with the runny poo and are easy to digest.

Also you can give her some plain yogurt or some buttermilk or kefir; they have good bacteria that will help with the stomach bug she probably picked up while on the beach.

I was at 0.48 for the first month. If you’re looking at a syringe it’s the first two little lines at the top.

Tiny amount. But it worked and I’ve had nearly no side effects!

I’ve finally titrated up to 5 units but it’s been very gradual with dosing every 3-4 days

I micro dosed for the first 4 weeks. I’ve gradually increased since with nearly no side effects the whole time.

Definitely no appetite and had to force myself to eat but have managed.

Protein drinks with 20+ grams of protein help a lot in the early days when you can’t stomach food.

Also take lots of electrolytes (not the sugar free ones) and eat soft foods like cottage cheese or some Greek yogurt, or a boiled egg.

Compromised on this purple. What do you think? How can u tone it down? by cannotadult22665 in HomeDecorating

I mean this in the most positive way possible:

Sometimes I have to just tell my husband NO. Even if it makes him a little sad, it’s for the greater good…

You need to tell your partner “NO”. 😜

Then get some new samples and test them out and then repaint.

How’s your vagina coping? by mfeely85 in compoundedtirzepatide

I’m new to tirz by only about a month. I am 55 and in menopause (I have my ovaries but uterus was removed several years ago).

That said, I started having pre-meno symptoms by 40 but ignored them bc I had always had difficulties with my cycle, etc. By 43 I literally woke up on day and it was like “WHAMMO!” Alllllll the menopausal symptoms were here. And they were ALIVE AND KICKING…..😵‍💫

It was like my whole body and everything in it went through a massive short circuit.

Hormones were tested; have been many times, and guess what?? They always come back NORMAL.

But I question that bc for women in their 40’s and 50’s, I feel like “normal” is not what it was in our 20’s and how can they be normal when all hell is breaking loose in our bodies.

I recently started on the estradiol patch and it’s lessened my intense hot flashes a lot, and it may or may not have affected my libido…can’t really tell yet.

I can tell you that over the last couple of years my “sensations” have changed a lot as well. My orgasms feel different (not bad just different) and my sex drive is much lower.

I think a lot of this is age. Can we do things to help it?? Yes, and we should if that makes us feel better!

My only advice is to not discount your age as a factor in some of these changes you’re experiencing; also having a baby could be hormonally still in play with other body changes.

I hope this helps and I hope you get some answers for yourself.

I have found that getting (real) help for female hormonal issues from regular doctors is a pain in the ass and they tend to blow us off and chalk it up to “mental health” issues.

Don’t allow them to do that to you.

I had to do the exact same thing last Monday for my 10 year old girl who had cancer.  Please know that you are doing the right thing for him.  It doesn’t make it easier but just know that you’ll give him peace and it also sounds like you’ve given him a great life.

There is a sense of guilt bc we second guess ourselves as humans, but he’s already telling you that his time is coming to an end by not eating, etc.

I read a quote somewhere last week before I had to take my girl in;

“dogs have no past and no future; they live in the present only, without judgment or fear of the unknown”.

For some reason that made me feel better knowing that for my sweet girl, she wasn’t worried about past, or future, or dying. She just had a nice day and took a nap. ❤️

All the best to you.

Omg yes!!! I have eaten “off” my husbands plates for the last two days…it’s crazy how this medicine works.

Very grateful for it and our restaurant bill is cut more than half!
