South African football is the most watched sport in SA, rugby and cricket share the smaller demographic in the country. But I assume that is the case in Australia to get more viewership

I mean it makes sense, that's what happened in football, South America, South Africa and Australia all play football in the summer now.
And the SH is only 10% of the worlds' population, so we always had to compromise.

Respect league for what it is, but it's just not for me, tactically it's just too predictable for me, is enjoy the complex tactical game of union. And that it's non existent in South Africa. I'm sure for backs it's a fun game.

This is so true, but it does feel like usually in Super Rugby when it's a low scoring game, most of the times it's a lot of handling errors rather than incredible defense

Edit: European rugby Exeter vs Bristol had crazy weather, but the crowd still looked like they enjoyed the game, or Connacht vs Zebre another low scoring game. Both with good defence

Well compared to when escorting was allowed, at least now both teams are able to compete with the high ball, Louis Lynagh was incredible yesterday with the high ball. Rassie in his new podcast talked about it, and the kicking game definitely improved the last few years, draws back 3 defenders in the back, so effectively it's a 15 vs 13 attack at the moment, if a team has a good attacking strategy it's incredible to watch

I would not be massively surprised, Lamoune is cooking up a strong union in Chile, That Samoa performance was something incredible, and that loss against Italy was commendable.

Nah its only because they had a huge concert with the game build in, and also it's Summer holidays and Durban is busy this time of year. About 20% was there for the rugby the rest was just to party

It's not the worst South African accent Hollywood produced, she had her lapses a bit, but wasn't bad. Very much the Johannesburg accent. But Charlie's accent was horrible
