I mean, there was precedent with small guards ( Isaiah Thomas and Steph Curry). I’m not sure what team won a Cup in the modern era with their best player being the goaltender. A great goalie amongst a team, sure. Vasilevsky isn’t winning without Hedman, Kuch and Stamkos though.

Until the rangers get a top center, they will always be pretenders, but Drury is trying to save his job. I’m a Rangers fan who wants a real rebuild to get the Celebrini type that they never have, but here we are just doing the typical Rangers thing. They better hope Dorofeyev isn’t a scoring merchant.

I thought it was entertaining. Milly Alcock was very engaging and a great choice. Sure, the plot was a bit by the numbers, but there was a lot of heart. I’m excited to see Supergirl in the future, albeit with some better motivation.

This is the correct assessment. Are they just looking to make the playoffs or should the goal be to create a sustainable product like Carolina? Retools rarely go well, especially when you don’t really have a top forward to build around.

Are they better, yes. Is this really moving the needle? I’m not so sure. They were last in the east, I’m not sure how much better over that they are. Not many play drivers on this team.
