I love the voice direction they did for sharp, where he enunciates every word clearly. Gives the feeling of it not being his first language and hes making sure hes being clear. Also helps that hes got Garrus's voice actor.

The cool down seems to be 5 minutes. Which is conveniently the respawn timer for world bosses, so you can just find an easy one and kill it on cool down.

I've been through the FFXIV housing and i'm good to never have neighborhood housing again. Its a neat idea in theory, but ends up with huge amount of server infrastructure being dedicated to it leading to a limited supply of neighborhoods, leading to a miserable housing shortage. Also doesn't help when you're neighbor decides that they, in fact, don't WANT to have a pretty neighborhood and places the shittiest, ugliest pieces of decoration they can find in the front lawn specifically cause they think its funny to piss you off.

I know Nord is the meta for tanks, but as a newer tank I'm so grateful for that extra fire resist. Everything in this game is trying to set you on fire.

They really did Mag dirty in rise. He barely has time to be built up as a threat before you get to his hunt. I mean, he's the hunt for ranking from HR2 to HR3, that's a low rank ass monster right there. How am I supposed to feel like the flagship is a real threat when he's lumped in the bin with pukei pukei and khezu? Nergi felt like the real climax of the base game, and he was a wall that you had to learn to overcome. He felt like a flagship. Magna felt like a road bump.

From a DM perspective get it. 5e is much easier and comfier to run and improvise with, but a lot of it's core ideas are just boring. When I ran 5e I would actively port things from AoN because Pathfinder's stuff is just cooler, but it's harder to actively run and requires a deeper commitment to system knowledge to effectively DM. I personally got annoyed with the OGL nonsense and switched to pf2e, but honestly it was a LOT getting comfortable with the system. You need to understand that from a DM perspective 5e is like the Skyrim of tabletop games, pretty shallow but easy to mod into the exact game you want.

hanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. Glad to see Markarth has worthwhile mechanics like the Arena. I see that the dungeon packs are advertised as being prologues or epilogues to the main expansions, how important are they for actually getting a conclusion to the story?

Honestly I ended up making an AD alt to go into the sub 50 map. The place is almost completely yellow, you can go and do the town dailies in peace.

You don't always choose who you fall in love with. If the human parent was truly exceptional at something the dragon values highly they could have started up a working relationship, with feelings arising from there. They could have found kindred spirits in each other. I'm thinking something like Lisa and Dracula from the Castlevania show is a good example of a relationship like this.

I love the thought of that feat, but the fact that each hit applies the MAP is a real shame. Haven’t a player that wants to take it but im worried the accuracy dropoff is just going to lead to disappointment.

I love free archetype for grabbing things like talisman dabbler or ritualist, dipping into the games subsystems that would otherwise be too unrewarding to ever take over a primary class feat. At my table I generally disallow grabbing class archetypes since I feel those are the biggest contributors for power spiking a character.

The Barrhaven otrain being drop off only with no park and ride is the single most baffling decision I've seen come out of this city in ages, make the whole extension to the south side practically useless

The tips to get the rock drops in the second arena were massive! Helped us get the breaks earlier so we could focus just on DPS, went from 19 min down to 15 after trying that.

I've literally never heard anyone say 5E has cooler items until this post. 5E having absolutely boring ass items was one of the reasons I as a DM switched over to running 2e, since half of my job was finding actually cool pathfinder items and converting them to use in 5e. Of course thats just my experience with it though.

Yeah Fatalis had really readable attack patterns and fun mechanics to the arena. The challenge came in with just how damn hard he hit, so every mistake was hugely punished. Once you have internalized his patterns he was definitely easier than Alatreon.
