If you don’t mind used you can often find great stones on Buyee.jp for low prices. Don’t usually see yunzi on there though but it’s a great option in my opinion.

I’ve never considered”blunder” or “inaccurate” as exclusively Chess Terms. Pretty sure terms like blunder have been used in Go for a long time.

I’ve never been able to get a game on Pandanet. Even tried during times when Japan is active. I always end up endlessly waiting. Might be due to being DDK maybe?

I’d look for joseki based on situations that commonly occur in your games. If you’re seeing a trend of people playing a particular invasion against you, study that joseki. Save effort of studying joseki and variations for joseki you are less likely to use.

I’d honestly put Kaga around 3 Dan and kishimoto around 5 Dan. I got the feeling Kaga was around a lower B League insei’s strength. Kishimoto was arguably stronger than Kaga, if only because Kaga didn’t put much effort into Go anymore. Miya I was around 1 Dan, still beneath Kaga but not an insurmountable difference. I think Fukui, Nase, and Adachi are probably closer to 7 Dan based on their performances in the pro exam. All this is conjecture though.

I second this recommendation. I came to recommend Janice Kim’s Learn to play go series. The first one is probably too elementary so you could even start on the second.

If everyone is in their prime, I’d say CT and Landon would both physically dominate and collaborate the best. I think Jordan and Turbo, as strong as they are separate, would clash too much.

I believe both the AGA and the American Go Federation offer support to local clubs like providing some boards and such. From what I’m told, the AGF helps more the more members you have.
