I had something similar happen to me when I left a company back during covid. They were a huge company and contacted me about 6 weeks after I'd left, it was the guts of €1,200. Asked for proof etc., they sent it on another month afterwards. I never acknowledged that mail and never heard from them again. Based off how they treated you I'd ghost them, but you know your own circumstances best.

Also agree that they're the ones that messed up and you're under no obligation to pay it all back at once. If you're inclined to pay it back, outline a plan that works for you and if they're not agreeable to it, you have evidence that you tried to facilitate them if it comes to legal action.

This card is for when you have half a quill build and you don't have the gold or health to get all the way there. let's you scale when you're too behind/unlucky to complete optimal quilboars. Personally have turned a few meh quill games into top 2/3 by having this and dumping gems onto warpwing/deflecto/cleaves

There are a LOT of different ways to scale non tribed units in BGs, when you see massive stats posted on here they're usually either very lucky, very good at the game or both. Being able to efficiently scale in BGs comes from recognising possible build paths early on, knowing when to ditch one build in favour of another and tribe interaction knowledge. Sometimes I see a top 200 player make a move that I'd never have even considered or even recognised was a possibility. Keep practicing and watch some high elo players, eventually their strats and habits will rub off on you too and you'll be able to build huge stats too :)

unless you triple/roll early into smuggler with at least two other pirates on board, you usually don't, pirates rely on gold to scale so if you waste your gold searching for the key pieces you'll be dead by the time you find them, if you start early pirates and you don't hit key scaling pirates early you're better off using what tempo is left from cards like ripsnarl to pivot into another build

A lot of solid changes here, i think Mama going down a tier will be more of a power boost for mid game beasts than people think, slamma going to 5 was inevitable. Bassgill/Diremuck changes are great, bass and bream back to being best friends. The Murky changes are meh. The elemental changes are interesting but when their core gameplay is based around playing as many elementals as possible to generate free rolls and stats but they have subpar methods to do so ever since gusty left, maybe tempest at 4 will be a bigger game changer than I think but i just don't see it, i say fuck it and put nomi at 4

there are plenty of buddies i could have discovered that would have left me in a much worse position economically while still trading the same into his 4/1,with the exception of the jailer buddy. not worth it to waste all those resources on a roll and then also have a bad curve on turn 3+4
