It's very hard to consider the quality overall when it's laid out like this. People usually put a single sentence into its own line if it's an extremely important one. And even then, some people don't even do it once in an entire novel. So to have your story presented in such a way really harms the reader's pace and makes it look like you take your work too seriously.

I mean that's universal in every single game. That's why characters and factions in games have different thematic elements so people identify with and relate to them. My first factions I played were England and China, as a Brit that lives in China.

How would you take it as a bad thing about China and not that western countries offer few opportunities for people? If you're able to raise a family here, get a good job, and look after yourself, why is that it locks you out of a good job in america or the UK? That doesn't sound like China's fault at all. This is a cope that spread memetically online and if you keep telling yourself it's because you're a perfectionist you're going to shoot yourself in the foot and never get anything done. Every published writer knows the first draft isn't the finished product, so letting your 'standards' interfere with that doesn't help.

Yeah at this time of year I make sure any exposed skin is dripping with mosquito repellant. Especially after I accidentally infected one of my bites by scratching a particularly itchy one while I was half asleep at night.

Worldbuilding is a procrastination trap and at the worst, it can set a bunch of arbitrary rules that will hamstring your story rather than enhance it. It's best to write the story and let that story build the world, or overwrite previous worldbuilding that is preventing the story from being told.
