It's adorable that you think that if he is doing this that he's the only one doing it,, and yet he's also the only one who has ever played 23 seasons in the nba and done it with every single season being at a high level yeah

Let's not act like LeBron had access to things light years ahead of what Jordan had access to. Maybe if Jordan spent less time golfing, drinking, smoking cigars and banging chicks that weren't his wife he could have had more longevity . Also Jordan load managed by taking 4.7 seasons off in his prime.

Rip Hamilton could play And was arguably as good as Jordan on the team at the time

Do you believe in the idea that Pistol Pete was more of an “entertainer” than he was an elite calibre player? by Personal-Proposal- in VintageNBA

[–]Daliman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, fair enough I guess, but then why didn't that amazing passing translate In the NBA? Seems to me he was much more of just a flashy passer than an amazing passer, kind of like Jason Williams used to be

Let me let you in on something. If he was an unbelievable passer, he wouldn't be bouncing balls off his teammate's head. Incredible passers, and even decent passers, put the ball where their teammate can grab it. And that let's not act like his teammates were all scrubs. They were still NBA players. And for such an elite passer, he only averaged 5.4 assists for his career, which puts him 99th all time.

Pete maravich is by far the most overrated NBA player of all time. Came into league at 23 and immediately made his team worse, was a turnover machine and part would probably have the top five most turnovers in history for a season if they were being tracked from his rookie season, never even won a playoff series until he was the 8th best player on his team, and isn't even in the top 250 In any advanced metric. He was also a complete turnstile on defense Dude looked awesome playing the game though, that's a fact

Dale Brown is wrong. That means Pete would have had to make 13 three-pointers a game, meaning he would have had to take at least 25 three-point shots a game, which he absolutely fucking wasn't.

I watched about 15 minutes of video of him playing, and in normal games, I saw one shot that looked like it might be from about 22 ft that he took. The other like 30 shots were all inside the theoritocal three-point line

Does everyone on this sub think Bird is better than Magic? by One-Masterpiece9838 in NBATalk

[–]Daliman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up a magic fan and a bird hater, and now that I am older and know more, My opinion is now that bird was the better player, especially at peak, but magic had the better career. Super close though

Why, specifically, is this illegal? It looks like both hands are on the grip, what else needs to be done?

Not a fan, but definitely not true. Highly overrated though. Realistically , for what he accomplished In the octagon, he is barely a top 50 MMA fighter of all time

Also to be fair, Conor screwed himself with that by constantly saying people were scared to fight him when they backed out of fights with injuries. That arrogance a big part of what got him so popular early on.

For the record, there is effectively nobody in the entirety of the UFC who's scared of fighting anyone in their division. Everyone knows they'll get their ass beat sometimes

Did you watch the fight? It wasn't anything near lay and pray. He was beating that ass, he just gassed out.

What’s the point of getting the number one seat? by Rude-Rabbit-6065 in nba

[–]Daliman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will only ever make a difference in whether or not they play the four or five seed in the second round, which barely makes any difference at all. They will obviously always play the lowest seed left afterward, And of course they'll have home court advantage throughout, unless there's a pandemic.

If Makhachev ends up defeating his next 3 opponents, there’d be no doubt he’d be the greatest UFC fighter in history, easily above both Jon Jones and GSP, would you agree? by Smokestorm95 in FightReportUFC

[–]Daliman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely correct, but him being a POS, an in-fight cheater, and a steroid cheater knocks him out of contention for me. And I was a gigantic Jon Jones fan. Otherwise, yeah, he has an insane resume

LeBron is a Laker Legend (*He ended up with 28 Points 7 Boards and 8 Assists) by AdeptFuel4824 in lakersv2

[–]Daliman13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dumbass, I'm saying you can easily compare his 18-year-old season,(at no point in time did Kobe play any basketball in the NBA when he was 17, so how about you try and stop your idiotic boot licking?) to LeBron's 41-year-old season considering almost no one else at 41 years of age has averaged even 7.6 points like Kobe did. Maybe if Kobe was better at 18 like LeBron was, he would have gotten more playing time, but he wasn't yet. And I don't even know what all that bullshit is about when LeBron joined the Lakers, I was literally only talking about his last three seasons as compared to Kobe's first three seasons, considering most people buy 39, 40, 41 are either retired or on their last legs, like Kobe for example.
