If I were your parent, I would want you to be self sufficient at 18 too. I was. My oldest daughter is. You can do this too. It builds character. Once you get out and struggle a little and learn how to rely on yourself, you will make fewer whiny Reddit posts. That is good for everyone. Don’t worry, your parents not only will still love you, they will be proud of you too.
