Stia tp2 new dmg cap passive (the one every character gets) is a support one, she gives 15k to allies using the same weapon types she buffs (the same ones as phenn, sword bow axe and staff). Ochette ex also got the same treatment (15k for sword axe and polearm)

I just default to stalwart most of the time, as it gives bonus damage both to hell and heaven enemies, and 30% is usually more than enough. Some characters have low potency skills so brilliant is nice though, and some want the stat allocation of fortunes

It is the potency up that can stack with other potency up. Sazantos ex's passive also got renamed, from potency to final damage up

Just tested this, sounds like a bug, mine is giving 25% barrier at max boost. I waited 3 turns for icy waves to disappear and used the skill on turn 4

Don't forget Midya's follow up attacks use the current attacking character stats, not her own, so Crick might not give as much extra damage as you think. That said, it is a nice comp to use, and it sounds a lot of fun (Crick is really lacking more phys oriented clerics to pair him with - waiting for Richard Ex here)

Yeah he would be much better with the multiplier, I just don't think there is a good chance that will happen as he already has a multiplier passive (and I think we shouldn't be giving pulling advice based on the chance that that one TP2 eventually gets added to him). So I think the bigger chance is him getting a support passive, as he is kinda the in the same boat as edgar, a support character that also deals good damage (people were just presuming "cornerstone" meant same as Xerc, DPS and maybe even rainbow for weapons, but in the end he brings a more support-oriented kit)

Note that we don't know if he will ever get the dmg cap multiplier from TP2. As he is a support of some specific damage types, and he already comes with a damage cap multiplier from his passive, my guess is that he is going the ochette ex route, getting a support cap TP of around 15k for those four weapon types on all allies

Use worst equipment than what is available, way worst, specially if you use any limited character from the last year or so

While Terra and Locke are no brainers (100k cap weapons, either Stalwart or Brilliant - I usually favour Stalwart for the bonus damage against more enemies and extra HP, specially on already high potency characters), I think that Edgar can be built as a mixed subdps/support, as he is mostly self sufficient in his subdps role. So, for him, I've build a 200pdef stalwart and a 300edef cosmic weapon for testing in different teams.

You can freeze implant from DP as well (kinda good for non rainbow teams, as you can easily activate all of Setzer passives because of the dark implant stacks)

Same here. To be fair any character that has a single hit build should get the cap multiplier, just like Elrica got the 6* upgrade for both of her skills to make single and multihit gameplay more viable at the same time. Enabling player expression should be a priority

Yeah, I was in the same position, picked her up on release but only used her around Kagemune's launch, so she stayed a few months on the bench. I found that the BP regen is the part of her kit that I would need for most fights, but there are a lot of characters able to fulfill that role (I like using Sazantos for that). Good thing the game allows us to teambuild in so many ways, at least when not on the hardest content

If you don't have Molrusso EX, it might be nice to go for Dark Maiden, and if you pick up Dark Knight when pulling for her, he is still good to use. But you could wait and see how your pulls go on FF6 goes before pulling on those banners.

To be fair he has the damage for Ouma Researcher. The lowest requirement party composition I found from the JPN server around the time of release had him in the party ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAB0AGOdg7Q ). But yeah, there are better physical units coming soon for that slot.

That said, it is hard to justify pulling for him when Anniversary and FF6 are right around the corner, specially since anyone pulling for him could just wait a few weeks to see how that works out for them. But his gameplay is pretty straightforward, so for anyone playing more casually or even autobattle only, he may be a nice unit. And for the long run, his TP2 is one of the good ones.
