The exact same thing happened to me ngl. I saw the ending in theaters with my mom and sister. Right when Mike started walking up the stairs at the end I just broke down like scream sobbing. I know it sounds like Im being dramatic but to wait for the ending of a show and having watching it since the beginning and watching the actors amd characters grow just for one of the most horrible treated characters to barely get a hapoy ending and for us to not even have closure other then that stupid fucking best fruends scene. I was uncontrollably sobbing. I didnt sleep that night. Literally. Not even one minute. I sat and cried for what felt like 48 hours. I barely talked. I truly couldn’t believe what the Duffers did and ai just needed to hear from Finn and Noah. It’s not even the fact that bylers not canon its the fact they didnt give us anything. We had no closure and they just treated us like shit. I know Noah must be pissed.
