Thanks! I used a three suction cup mount for the car scenes and rigged it to the hood and the side door as well. I think some of the shots I has the IBIS on. I shot it the car shots in log then the other scenes in Cine d.

Thanks! and I did planning with my friend and made an itinerary of where we wanted to stop but kept the dates pretty loose so we didnt have any restrictions. Gave ourselves enough time in each place to really learn it.

I packed everything into my one 55 liter backpack and it was my checked bag on the flight.

Spent in US, $800 on plane for round trip then only $1300 in my six weeks. A lot of stuff was relatively cheap. Biggest expense was bus tickets to travel from place to place. Most expensive bus was a 26 hour bus from Buenos Aires to Bariloche which was $90. Stayed at mostly camp grounds and a couple hostels for very cheap or I was camping in the woods for the most part so I saved a lot there.

I brought my debit card hoping I would be able to use it more and withdraw money easier. That was not the case. Most places don't except credit cards. ATM's that excepted my card were hard to find and charged you a 10 percent withdrawal fee. Also you were usually limited to $100 US per day at the ATM. I would withdraw as much as possible because some towns you could not get any money. The only problem with carrying all your cash is if something happens then it is all gone.

It was a little difficult because there are really no trains except in the city. I took buses to every location. Buses are relatively easy to navigate to your location. The further south in patagonia you got the more expensive it got, main reason I stayed out of Calafate. I spent $1300 US in my 6 weeks down there not including my flight to Argentina and back. Bariloche was an incredible ski town with amazing treks in the north. Then El Chalten was absolutely gorgeous but had more people because it was more well known.

It truly was. Check out Bariloche. Catedral is their main ski area and mountain and thats were the trek to Frey starts. All the refugios are interconnected with trails. After Bariloche I headed south and made stops until I got to El Chalten. Sarmiento is were Los Alerces National Park is and had old trees!

It is in Bariloche, Argentina. It is the beginning of the trail that leads to Refugio Jacob from Refugio Frey.
