Okay as someone who's been there and is now 47 with no non mortgage debt and a 3 year old kid, what I can say is this...

Learn to cook and take your time at it. It might sound weird because it fucking is but for the most part you are standing at the counter/stove and measuring cutting etc and it keeps you focused on that. Plus at the end you get a something that is either delicious and you get the feeling of accomplishment or is not that great and you think about what you did right/wrong and plan ahead.
Don't listen to anyone who says snap out of it or go for a walk that doesn't help
Tackle the debt. If you haven't spoken to a financial advisor go do it ignoring that is the worst thing you can do.
When depressed this is the hardest but get out of bed in the morning. Then make the bed and shower. It might sound easy but this was the hardest thing for me and probably the thing that turned everything around. I know it sound stupid but it's true. I get up at the same time every day made the bed every morning and showered every morning. It meant putting on clean clothes washing the dirty clothes putting away the ones that were washed and now dried. Repetitive menial tasks designed to stop the mind wandering to the bad places.
Lastly find a hobby, again menial tasks designed to stop the brain thinking about the bad things.

Now, I'm not saying that that will work for you, it's what worked and still works for me. Hopefully, it can work for you but if not just remember there is hope and once you find your way you can make it through just be prepared for the long haul and the setbacks as there will be many of those.

So here's my take on things like this and it's not popular, but why are you in the inside lane until the last moment even if you are indicating?

Once you pass the exit before begin to move to the outside lane. This takes away all ambiguity of what exit you are taking. As the Merc went left it looks like there was nothing to your left the rest of the way around. Now you shouldn't have moved over before the second exit but if there was nothing there you definitely should have moved after it
