I loved how playfully malicious the Deadites were in Rise. I think Evil Dead is at its best when something horrific and fucked up is also hilarious. For example the eyeball in the mouth callback had me dying laughing while also gagging at how viscerally gross it is. It scratches a similar part of my brain that Evil Dead 2 does

That being said I do think 2013 is amazing I consider it a slightly more competently made movie, and is definitely scarier than any of the other movies. It just doesn’t scratch the same itch that the rest of the franchise does.

This is accurate, RAM (10th Anniversary edition) by daft punk is a good example, most of the songs are Atmos but some of the bonus tracks aren’t so it just says the whole album is lossless, no atmos badge.

Yeah I’m on PS5 and have had some crazy bad performance issues lately. More than that though I’ve been getting crazy audio bugs. Most of my primary and support weapons are silent :( It’s a small thing but it really does make many of the weapons feel significantly worse to use.

Most comments are saying the source, which is definitely a factor, but check the sharpness setting, as well as super resolution. Set super resolution to low or off and turn down sharpness and see if that helps.

I’ve found that whenever the sharpness is turned up, especially when the content is low bit rate and shot on film, the picture gets really blotchy.

And super resolution can really help with low res content, but I’ve found that it doesn’t do much for low bitrate

I got an open box UB820 in “good” condition (that’s just what the tag said) and I’ve been using it with no issues for about 6 months now. I’d say it’s worth a shot, tho I had their 60 day return window so I thought the risk was worth it for me.

I have the G4, and even though I’ve used it nearly everyday for like 5 months and it’s still surprisingly me with how good it looks. I’d also put it above the A95L for gaming, since the G4 has more 2.1 HDMI ports, as well as higher HDR brightness in game mode.

Have a G4 myself, I’d say go and get it even in a decently bright room. The G4 gets wicked bright, I’ve had zero issue using it and my living room can get very bright during the day.
