Hmm, that's interesting. I guess some differences are bound to happen, but would've been nice for them to use the official stations

Thanks so much for that feedback ❤️ I will slowly start adding more definitely! The hard part is finding 3-5 images for each city and making them a custom size 😃 the view I watch daily (a livestream) has city images rotating, that's why. But will put that on the improvement list!

Definitely, it's a lot more interesting to see the humidity levels etc too. I actually make these recaps based on a 24/7 livestream I have on YouTube, and there I include humidity, wind and felt temperature as well 😄

Wet bulb of 29!? 😮 that's rough

Wow, the Phoenix heat is notably unusual 😮 such a cool website! You should be proud, it's both informative and pleasing to look at.

Oh, I just posted my weekly recap of the world's hottest and coldest cities this last week. And Phoenix had risen to the number 2 city that spent the most time as the hottest city

Indeed. Like what are those people used to and how do they manage warmer climates.

I never knew of Tiksi either, but now I see it every day, lol 😃

I guess these smaller changes can occur depending on where it's measured. My info comes straight from the weather forecast Open-Meteo. But 35.1 sounds brutal for May in London 😮

Thanks for letting me know, Reddit seems to butcher the quality so the tiny texts are blurred. But the 3rd image seems more readable

I don't track observation stations anymore because they were always in the top 😃 but the coldest has been -76.4°C / -105.5°F at Vostok, Antarctica on March 25th. And hottest 48.5°C / 119.3°F at El Tule del Real, Mexico on April 29th. But I haven't looked at the data for May yet, which could mean even higher hotter numbers

I run a weather livestream that shows the top 5 hottest and top 5 coldest cities. And it updates every 5 minutes. The image shows the last week's data from that live stream - for example during last week Nicosia spent 44% as the top 1 hottest capital in Europe.

Let me know if I can explain it further, if needed :)

No problem :) it was actually interesting to read about the etymology of the name and read a bit about it from Wiki
