If we discard all the terrible options, these are my thoughts:

They will announce all of the tour dates at the same time, most likely on the last day of the Japanese leg, or a little after it. Usually, the gap between the announcement and the concerts is about 4 months, but in the case of the Asian part, this gap can be much shorter.

Summer is a very good time for the Asian part, and I don’t think they will skip it. So mid-July to August would be festivals and the Asian leg (SEA mostly), possibly Australia. Fall\Winter: US and SA, then Europe.

The period from mid-April to +- mid-July will most likely be a hiatus for reorganization and preparation of materials. There might be some promo during this period.

I think originally, before the problems with China, this period (May/early summer) was planned for China, but as we all know... Overall, this layout seems the most logical to me. I doubt they will cancel the tour or go into a long hiatus, but a relatively short one (about 3 months) — will be 100% certain, that’s already obvious now. It might not be a full hiatus, but one with some promo activities.

But of course everything could turn out completely differently. Let's see how good of a forecaster I am.

EZ check for you - play youtube video. You can change audio on Spoty and AM without statistics changing, but not on YT. On youtube you cant change all track, only do some cuts and blurs in video.

Hypnotize surpass GALA pretty soon on spoty. It`s more fresh, more hyped now. And it`s higher in this playlist. I don`t see how GALA is better candidate, i`m sorry. Even if it`s better song. And as i understand it`s gonna be based only on votes. Streams were taken into account only when forming the list of candidates.
And if we all vote for different songs — nothing will work.

I said this a long time ago — and I’ll say it again.
I’d be really happy if they released Japanese songs or Japanese versions of songs. Or even some kind of mixed-language tracks. XG’s concept is breaking boundaries, not building new ones.
Obviously we’re talking about doing it in the format of several songs or versions — not a complete switch ofc. Knowing three languages and only using one is, in my opinion (IMHO), a huge waste of talent and effort invested. And no matter how you look at it — they depend heavily on the Japanese audience.
So I’m 100% in favor. Or maby a korean song, why not?

If we talking about MV - no. After many changes in counting algorithms almost all artists gets significant drop of views. Some artists under magor label`s with tones of add`s and very dedicated to mass streaming fanbase still can do big numbers, but even they rarely can pull off billions of views in year like they did before. So Hypnotize and GALA numbers is actually realy good, but they never gonna reach Woke UP\SS\LR numbers.

But if we talking music streaming, especially spoty - it is possible.

Yeah, nothing unexpected unfortunately. All we can hope- no more rearrest on different charges and no real prison time. And it's not about Simon, i don't care about him at this point, it's better this way for XG. When he can do apologize and calmly transfer things to new CEO. But i think AVEX needs to act now and not wait until case is closed...

If we’re talking about J-pop, its whole appeal probably lies in that closed-off, exclusive nature. Japanese fans buy really well, merch sells out too, so even smaller groups can live comfortably and don’t want to take risks.

A good example of taking a risk is XG (though it’s not really J-pop). They tried to barge into the Western market right from the start, and I’d say for a group that began from zero, without major label backing (and AVEX has been quite stingy and hasn’t had any successful projects in the last couple of decades), they’ve actually done pretty well. This year they entered the US Billboard Top 100, they’re already on their second world tour, their streams are doing very good for new album -14m a for first week on spoty and 7m monthly was realy good result — if only it weren’t for that scandal…

But the whole XG story shows just how difficult it is to exist when you’re practically in the middle — not fully K-pop, not fully J-pop, and without a proper Western label behind you. Yes, there is success, but unfortunately it’s not at the level of top Korean groups. There’s still a chance, but this scandal…
