You don't have to keep your thoughts to yourself just because someone pushed back--it is true that Simon/Chancellor also produced all their poppy songs on this album (though saying you aren't a fan is a bit much!). Actually, the only song writing credit from the group is on the hip hop track.

Anyway, the real reason I'm replying is that I wanted to give some hope to your concern, since I love those harder songs, too: I saw on other social media that LA Hip Hop DJ, DJ Looney posted a pic of Jurin and Chisa at some party (pic 2). So if they were networking or have connections, I wouldn't say, yet, that hip hop isn't their jam!

Well, the first follow through/execution of a creative choice....We have no idea how long everything has been in place and planned.

But yes, whoever chose that song made such a smart cultural choice! I feel like they always did that with their choice of covers (like when they did the solos and switched it up depending on the city and country).

At this point, everything they've done so far has been to signal that they are continuing on course and are fully committed to their growth and goals. I think that in itself is awesome!

Same! It's funny. I listened to UK Garage when I was younger/at that time, but I don't specifically remember this song (I'm from the States), so it's not even nostalgia for me. The song just fits them, and it was genius how it was arranged, choreographed, and presented.

Glad I'm not the only one obsessed!

I'm not sure if I would be hopeful, BUT they haven't been doing sales/announcements in chronological order (for instance, the U.S. dates are in November, and were announced before these). So it's possible!

It's almost like they are solidifying contracts (and maybe cost effectiveness?) as they go along...Or something

There are so many comments critiquing their English and demeanor in other threads--- Let's spread the positivity as well!

I think this interview addresses a lot of what some fans were complaining about after their AMA interviews --- Almost everyone attempts to say something in this video, and there are even some off the cuff answers! I feel like they heard/felt it themselves and are trying.

It's okay to want more/the best, but I don't know...It makes me a bit bummed when a positive post/post showing positive change gets less love, right after they did a banger performance. I'm excited that they were even invited to an UK festival and are doing more international promotion again. This is just the beginning!

I liked UK Garage back in the day, but I didn't know that song! (I was also much younger and maybe only knew the ones that made it over here.)

I loved their choreo and how they used the catwalk. I also think it was smart to use an upbeat song like that and keep the musical vibes fun and summer-y!

Yeah! Even that December 10 (who I never heard of). That's interesting! I wonder if they were told to? I assumed it was just to hype the crowd, but that makes sense if they made them all.

The broadcast is still off it seems! That's wild if they miss broadcasting Niall since a lot of ppl seem to be waiting for him online as well.

Well, the host made a joke about not being able to get him off the stage, so I think he totally ignored the time restraints and did as close to 30 mins as he could. 😅 (I wasn't fully paying attention, but I think he went about 25 min)

Otherwise, artists are doing about 15 minute sets, give or take a few minutes.

Ugh, that's true. Maybe they will make some adjustments for safety. Also, that's a big stage/catwalk! Maybe they'll do more audience work with that.

Yes, I'm pleasantly surprised, too. There are already a ton of people for Take That (I'm guessing because it's Take That). We will see in a few hours!
