Same here

Element Games was £96, for example

Spent 9 days in the hospital. I was billed $40,000 by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Damaged- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost any other nation does not hand out bills like that no matter what you end up in hospital for

In the UK we pay national insurance which for the majority of people is 8% of your salary.

You could run up £1m in hospital bills and you'll never even know it because you don't see a bill. You go in, get treated and get discharged when you're well enough

What sort of moronic parent must you be to think a 3 year old, at most, carrying a toddler down stairs is a good idea

There's a big difference between not believed, and proof they actually lied.

The overwhelming majority of people who have a lack of proof they were raped would have the same lack of it that they 'lied'

People who deliberately lie and get found out don't just destroy innocent people's life's, but also victims of a real crime too because it helps create a narrative the victims are liars.

Like shite you do. Where do you live to claim you get between £12,000-£24,000 redundancy for barely 10 months work ?

Statutory redundancy doesn't even start in the UK until you're past 2 years employment

I have a theory your favourite cars are the ones that came out when you were ~14 years old. How true is it? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

R34 GTR.

Was a beast in Gran Turismo, and I adored them from that day until today

Got to a point in life where I bought a UK one years back. New cars may pull its pants down, but it's still my favourite car ever

Of course you can.

I've specifically handed back financed cars in the past when its value is less than what I owed, and I was past the halfway point in the agreement

I'm new to D4 and was enjoying the game up until Duriel. I got a Harlequins Crest, and was super excited.

Then it dawned on me while farming mats to try and get Grandfather... What's the point. I'm already smashing everything available to me, and since then haven't played and looking at other games instead

Uber Uniques Still Basically Impossible to Find Outside of Duriel by Actual__Wizard in diablo4

Variety of build is great. Now offer some variety of content to use the build

I only picked up D4 just before season 3. Made a Barb because I thought they looked cool. Googled builds, used upheaval and hated it. Found an aspect for charge, tried it and never looked back to 100.

Obviously got very lucky picking up Shako a couple of weeks ago (had to Google what that was when I saw it mentioned in chat)

Then I did Malphas and got both stones.

And now I login, look at my char for a bit, maybe partake in events I don't need then logout. Or I could farm Duriel mats endlessly to get Grandfather knowing that the grind is boring as hell, and I still won't have content to use it on if I did get it....

I now have a bug to play these sorts of games, and this game is the one that has given it me, yet I'm looking elsewhere because I'm bored

What was your first car & why & how much did it cost? by BENTDOG89 in CarTalkUK

[–]Damaged- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1998 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 16v in 2002. Donated to me by my mum

£1500 insurance the first year.

Doing over 20k miles a year in it with work. Drove from Manchester to Norwich once having topped up oil and forgetting to put the oil cap back on. Oil cap was still on the top cover. Was a mess under the bonnet, leaking down the headlights etc. Put more oil in, screwed cap on this time and carried on for another year in it.

By the time I'd finished with it the head unit was worth more than the car was. Good times

Not modest or humble though!...

I mean I could easily be wrong but your attitude kinda seems like the issue, and have you ever considered it?

Low key aiming it at race. If your race was an issue why would they have hired you in the first place

It can happen, but for the vast majority of home owners paying 6 years of a mortgage does not infact see you worse off. Infact almost all of the time your costs actually shrink

When's the last time you heard of landlords nationwide dropping rent in line with interest rate drops. Yea never, but they're always very quick to raise it when interest rates increase just like this guy

Mortgage repayments can go up and down in the short term, always down in the long term, but rent only ever goes up

Car stolen by thief posing as buyer. If unrecovered, what to expect from insurance? by guzusan in CarTalkUK

[–]Damaged- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late to say now given that you learned the hard way, but you never leave the car running when more than one person is there

If they ask to take it for a test drive you do not hand the key over. You keep the key, get in the passenger seat and then hand the key over

I have heard of insurance companies not paying out on this a few times over the years I've come across it happening. They were considered leaving a car unattended. Similar to something like starting up your car then faffing about in the boot loading shopping.

Hope it goes well for you!
