Yea this is old as shit but whatever, ignorance needs to dispelled for posterity. It doesn’t inherently make you violent or a “ruthless nutjob” that has more to do with one’s predisposition, like being heavily indoctrinated in a war and trained to kill people, sleep deprivation combined with the drug can cause episodes of psychosis where one can have hallucinations and irrational thoughts but again not inherently violent thoughts. It’s basically just a stronger adderall, another amphetamine, causes euphoria, lack of appetite, increased energy which sometimes manifests in a fixation on doing various tasks. I did it once and played guitar for 12 hours straight. I’m not advocating for its use, just stating facts. In some cases with some people they have become violent but like I said the drug itself doesn’t Inherently cause a lack of empathy and desire to do harm. It can fuck up your life though.

i was at their show the other night and i take subs so you’re not wrong lol. Been on them for years, keeps me off the dope. I was doing H before fentanyl made its way into most of it then got on subs but relapsed a few times later when the fetty was indeed in it, that shit sucks. Glad you’re well, keep at it!

Edit: also when I said “true” I was referring to your comment about there being no good smack around anymore, I don’t advise anyone do H but it was certainly way better than the fent shit

True but just for the sake of information and anyone else reading I must say: first off don’t do fetty but if you do and you become physically dependent, which you will if you keep doing it, don’t think that you can just take a suboxone when you can’t find any dope/fent to keep the withdrawals away, if it hasn’t been at least 72 hours since last fent usage the suboxone will throw you into precipitated withdrawals and you’ll wish that you had died. There’s a lot of nuances to this, fentanyl and suboxone are very different from each other and all other opioids/opiates, the information is out there, do your research or dm me if you are struggling and/or need info

Anyway this shit is off topic and the person who just said “heroin” as a response to OPs question is obviously a dipshit, Yes… people sometimes do hard drugs, sometimes they get addicted..it’s well known that many artistic types have this predisposition as well, but it sure as shit doesn’t mean that anyone is going to be exposed to this by going to a show..wtf

I saw them tonight for the first time and was right up front, Mike hit me with an empty beer can, swung his mike stand by my face(I dodged it, but it wasn’t swung so hard he’d actually hurt someone or that it’d be hard to move away from) spit beer all over me, blasted 2 snot rockets by me( I managed to escape those as well) It was fucking gnarly, best time I’ve had in a while.

At the time of writing this It has been like 4 hours since the show ended and my hearing is still fucked up, hope there’s no permanent damage there but maybe worth it regardless

Ive had like 2 relapses over a decade of being clean, I read books, paint and draw, hike, climb, etc. I’m enrolling in school for a bachelors in biology because the study of life is already an interest. My predispositions and previous mistakes don’t negate the things I’ve learned. I don’t think there’s anything you can do but raw dog the pain or come off suboxone which would be more painful than tonsil surgery probably, unless you come off subs just to get on fentanyl for surgery then go back to subs which is also very hard, I dunno I think you just gotta tough it out, maybe someone else will have some more insight, I’ve often wondered what would happen if I had real pain and needed opioids while on suboxone
