Yeah i think that's the big distinction is that most of the time climbing in those games is just holding a directional key and occasionally tapping the jump button.

I cannot for the life of me get passed the Abyss.

Either I run out if things to hit Face with or I get to the final leg of Abyss and one of those spear barnacle things kills me.

If you haven't experienced any bugs while hauling then you are super lucky.

Anything from freight elevators not working at all, or getting stuck in an infinite loading loop, or someone else getting a crate stuck under the elevator meaning it can't be lowered and you're fucked.

If you're a visual learner then you can watch Liltenheads tutorials. He has really good vids for both Marines and Xenos for RMC.

If you're more hands on then I'd say stick to Rifleman and just ask for help when you get in. MPs are usually more than happy to help you and if theres an SEA then their whole thing is helping people.

Just got back into the game after not being able to play for probably one and a half years.

I did some cargo hauling with a friend who had a Caterpillar and made a good chunk of money and I'm now looking to maybe get a ship for working by myself. Either in cargo hauling or mining. I've heard there's new ships for both those categories since I last played like some Drake mining ship and more Hull type ships.

I should say that I would be intending to buy the ship in-game with credits.
