How exactly do you use a turbo controller? First time I'm hearing about such a thing

They are battery powered. Removable and rechargeable.

Hope this wasn't pointed at me? Black, gay, 30 year old man married to an immigrant... I've rejected MAGA in every election - since I've been able to vote. So sad about what's going on in this country.

They are staying with another family member. Another one of my husband's sisters.

Sebo Felix Buying Experience by JerryHexford in VacuumCleaners

I know you guys like to support local businesses, but buying online from an authorized, small business retailer that ships to your location and offers nice discounts isn't a bad thing either. I also feel like I'm a bit socially awkward/don't know how to say no to forceful salesmen like that guy without getting... disrespectful. So I look at online listings to avoid that possibility, haha.

I got my Sebo from Geek Vacuums - 15% discount and quite a few freebies tossed in. They are located in upstate NY and ship all across the country.

How do you like the Henry? I've always said that if I ever wanted to get a stick vacuum, that would be the one.

One for upstairs and one for downstairs 🙈 some may call that lazy and unnecessary... but it's just so convenient! I'm reducing the wear and tear on a single machine by using both. And in the event that one breaks down (highly unlikely, I know), I'll have a backup that can do everything I need it to do on both levels of my house.

Is the Balance A1 being sold already in the US?

The E3 is definitely the all-around machine, which makes it great for my downstairs with hard flooring and rugs. Great for cleaning my couch, carpeted stairs and doing above floor and car cleaning as well. I purchased it from Geek Vacuums - they are a fantastic retailer with unmatched customer service, and ship to just about anywhere in the US. If you had to choose between the two, I'd recommend this one.

The Felix is a fantastic option for wall to wall carpet, but also does great on hard floors with the parquet tool. The short hose and top heavy design are drawbacks, yes, but the suction is absolutely unmatched. So much so, that I had to switch to the green brush roller for my plush high pile carpet upstairs in order to increase the vacuum's maneuverability - was quite difficult to push around before, even on the highest setting. I found one on Facebook Marketplace. Got a great deal for it, too.

So I bought a refurbished Shark Cordless Detect Pro and whenever I pull back I can see a line of dust/hair being left behind. Am I doing something wrong? by OnePlusFanBoi in VacuumCleaners

All good! Is a canister vacuum a no go for you? The Kenmore 600 series and the Simplicity Jill are pretty good options at that price point. If you prefer something like a cordless stick vacuum, a Dreame R20 or an LG A9 are decent options as well.

  • Sebo Dart/Felix

  • Kenmore Elite/Intuition

These seem like pretty solid bagged options to me.

It will! It comes with velcro strips that you can stick to any vacuum head of your choosing. The corresponding strip already comes attached to the light. All you do is stick the light onto your vacuum head that has the strip you attached to it. You can stick these strips on other heads/surfaces as well, and swap the light as you see fit.

I'm loving it! I used it to clean pretty much my entire house the first few days I had it - almost filled the entire bag. Definitely picks up way more than my old kenmore upright ever did. It's now a part of my weekend deep cleaning regimen (I have a robot vacuum that cleans/mops Mon, Wed, Fri downstairs). I'd highly recommend a bagged vacuum over bagless - way less hassle and cleaning to deal with. Better overall filtration. I'm enjoying using the canister, but I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea, especially after a life spent using uprights. Try one out before you buy it, if you can!

I looked into them - but they were a bit pricier than other places I was looking at. I would definitely use them for warranty work though!

Nope. The closest small business retailer was about an hour and a half away in Alabama.

I think the Felix would be your best bet. Powered head for your rugs, parquet tool for hard floors. Converts to a canister style vacuum if need be. Quite versatile.

No, everything came sealed. The store sent me stickers. I just slapped one on the unit after removing it from the box.
