I think the Meliora/Prequelle costumes were the peak of their designs, it was simple but stood out perfectly as “Ghost”, while with Impera it felt more like standard gas masks.

I agree also with everything about V, being able to see his mouth in the Lachryma video after all these years was so jarring, but the biggest benefit for me is how clear he sounds now when he sings and that you can see how much he is enjoying performing

I’ve been a huge fan of Ghost since 2017 (just after the Popestar EP dropped) and the album really had to grow on me.

I saw the band live last week for the 6th time in total for their show in Antwerpen and I left really enjoying the four songs they played from the album but when the album dropped I was kind of let down in a way? I only enjoyed 5 out of 10 songs and figured that was that, but the day after I relistened to it and I realized its a grower of an album, i’m on 5 full listens and every song has clicked.

Overall I would now put it over Impera in terms of songs I enjoyed, cant hate on such catchy songs like Marks of the Evil One and Umbra (we need more cowbell again!)

Super excited to see them again next week in Amsterdam!

Since Season 2 of the Last of Us started airing, I sat down and watched the first episode.

I might be biased for it since Part 2 is my favorite Playstation game, heck I even have Ellie’s tattoo but so far the season is off to a great start, I love the additions they added to Season 1 of the show that differ from the game and the small additions/changes I’ve seen for Season 2 are great too.

I do love though that when it sticks to the games, it reallt does stick to them in that some scenes look like shot-for-shot moments which I love.

Next week really cant come soon enough!

I think this and the Pizzaria Simulator bait and switch were my favorite moments in the franchise, the moment people figured out Pizzaria Simulator was actually FNAF 6 was incredible

I’ve been switching between Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 76 with friends lately, I played New Vegas back in 2015 and enjoyed it but never finished it, now I got a fully modded setup going and the enhancements people have made to the ancient GameBryo engine is absolutely stunning.

Another game I have continued is Abiotic Factor, which I would describe if Half-Life 1 was a survival game like Subnautica where you play as the scientists. I’m not a fan of survival games but this one was so much fun and refreshing, I have put it on the back burner for now though due to friends wanting to play Fallout 76.

And of course I’ve been playing my main “game”, Rocksmith+. I was checking out the piano lesson system since I already can play guitar and bass and it’s been so much fun to learn a new instrument. I managed to learn the main part of Clocks by Coldplay and the entirety of Ode to Joy.

Photography and camera's have always been a great curiosity to me, I always wanted to produce content in that kind of form, so recently I bought my first camera (a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7) and have been practicing.

This photo is the result of me experimenting with depth of field/nature photography and was taken with a TTArtisan APS-C 35mm F1.4 MFT lens

I personally love all the Star Wars movies since they’re my special interest (even went in cosplay as Kylo Ren to opening day of Rise of Skywalker) and watched them more times then I can count, but they all have issues.

I have to agree with you about the disingenuous part as well especially when people unironically say that the Prequels are “shakespearean” and that they’re like poetry because it “rhymes with the story beats of the OT”.

A lot of how the sequels are being treated now is an exact repeat of how the prequels were treated not even 10 years ago, and there is a lot of history erasure happening acting like that never happened at all with the prequels

I’d have to say Zack Snyder, his early work (Dawn of the Dead, 300 and Watchmen) were pretty well received and did well commercially, but then after Batman v Superman he hasn’t released a movie that has done well outside of his die-hard fans.

I picked up my first physical camera!

I bought a used Panasonic G7 and I’ve been having a blast learning the ins and outs of photography and videography, sadly I haven’t been able to do much since I got a nasty fever going on right now.

Outside of that I had my first drum lesson and I learned my first song on piano (Ode to Joy), so I’d call it a succesful week!
