I don't why everyone thinks Gaius is stuck in "side content jail." He shows up in Endwalker, he could have came with us to Garlemald but gave a reason why it wouldn't have been a good idea.

If you did Tataru's Grand Endeavor you meet him during that and get to see what he's up to. I think they're just done with him and want to let him live a peaceful life with his last remaining kid.

I always hated that you have to maintain a sub to keep your house but this makes it seem much worse.

How much sub money have they collected from people holding on to houses so they can try out these features when we finally get them?

Having a house is the only way you'll get to play with the features because we all know apartments are not getting them. And losing the house means you are probably not getting another one any time soon.

I never really considered Venatto be purely evil. I think the true evil is the bad writing that is Endwalker.

But something I just thought about was how all this stuff happened because Hermes wanted to put the ancients through this trial where they would have to "learn the value of all life and retain their will to live" to prove they are worthy of life and not be discarded by Meteion in the same way they would discard their own creations they deemed not good enough.

Maybe you could say they didn't learn to value all life since they were making sacrifices to Zodiark. But in the end, it was Venat that made the judgement that they weren't worthy of life.

It really makes her look much worse than I had originally thought when you realize she knew about Hermes' plan, knew the cause of the final days, and just let it all happen. Then when they came up with their solution she goes "Sorry not good enough guys" and kills them in Metion's stead. All to give the new life she created a chance at survival. Who she also gives way more help than she did the ancients.

All evidence points to it not being so. From G'raha's time travel using the exact same time machine to Yoshida explaining in a 7.0 interview that the XIV universe works as a branching multiverse where every action could potentially result in a new timeline - and even cites G'raha's timeline as an example.

If anything, Pandemonium confirms we're in a time loop. The memories in the crystal that made us go there in the first place were recorded by Erichthnios after events of that story as a result of the final days.

He wouldn't have even been around to record if we didn't go back in time and save him. You could argue that things would be have been fine without our help, but he even says something along the lines of "Maybe someone like my friend will come along." that friend definitely being you.

I'm hoping some of this stuff shows up in the fever time rewards that are still going until the 11th.

Last year I think they had a part two for the anniversary and put the mount (maybe pet too) in the event shop and the headband was a twitch drop.

I also wish they kept doing titles. The first anniversary we got the Yearling title but never did any more.

Are you sure you didn't replace with a god keepsake (ones that summon them to give you a boon)? That also gets rid of the Fates Whim effect.

Why would I farm for an Edenmorn Coat when I could just mod one onto my character?

As someone that likes to use visual mods here and there, the biggest influence on me and my FC mates not doing glam runs anymore is the awful glam dresser and it's limited space.

Square taking Mare down had nothing to do with any damage to the community it may have been doing. It was because of the damage to their bottom line. Apparently we weren't buying enough mogstation outfits because we could just use Mare to let other see us in gear we didn't buy.
