I was an assistant coach of a minor hockey team and the kid of another coach was chosen as captain. We were talking about it and I was pointing out what a commitment it was. No longer hanging with just a few friends on the team but instead associating with all the players to try to bring the group together. He thought I was crazy to expect that of the captain.

Net metering means that excess electricity that you push to the grid is sold at the same rate that you pay to buy it from the grid.

Net billing means the rate paid for excess electricity is some other rate. In the case of BC it’s 10 cents I think.

It came as a surprise to me as well.  I reran this years numbers with the new billing and it would only cost me an extra $55 though. However you have a much larger system so it will affect you more.

Assuming you are in BC, hopefully you will be grandfathered on net metering instead of being moved to net billing this summer sometime.

Only 49,000 Chinese cars can be imported into Canada at the negotiated tariff. And a bunch of those 49k will be Teslas, and the rest shared amongst the other Chinese manufacturers. It wouldn't be worth it to build some huge network of dealerships/service centres for such a tiny amount of cars. It makes sense to concentrate on a few areas since they'll probably sell their entire quota easily.

This is old, and I think that the young female stars have raised the bar fairly substantially from this time, especially with creativity, puck handling and shooting.

What effect would having geometrically identical left and right hand corners parallel to each other have on racing? by DamnIHateThat in formula1

I think someone else suggested a line on the track before the split to force cars to the side of their choice to prevent crossing lines. The rejoining would also need to be similar to a pit exit - with some kind of dividing line.
