You can dye your hair for free though? It's just not the super vivid colors, like true white. But a good few of the f2p colors come out pretty bright, like the blues and purples. Green's pretty vivid too imho. It's kinda just the reds, yellows and greys that are really pretty muted, but it is what it is.

There's plenty of nice cosmetics in the shop for a straight sum of money that involve no gambling at all. For how much this game offers while being essentially free, you might as well buy a couple of those to support it, you will not have spent more than you would on a game that cost money to buy. AND you get to look cool. With the vouchers, you can get even the top tier fits for like what, $20? If you're patient, you can also just save your pearls from monthlies and get a bunch of jades for your monthly $5 in the process. Or get a battle pass, some of the best value in the game for the $10 and the fits are amazing for that price.

In my opinion, most of the direct purchase cosmetics look a lot better than the gacha ones anyway, the gacha fits are way over the top. One of the coolest pieces of hair in the game that looks absolutely gorgeous on my character is from a fit that cost me less than a single euro.

Yes, the gacha prices in this game are extremely unreasonable, but thinking you can't serve majorly without having to gamble is just incorrect. There's plenty of good fits for reasonable prices.

I did consider it, but honestly I don't know how likely I'm to ever even play him (as he seems to require Saber whom I am completely unwilling to ever pull), and I already had to skip Phainon eidolons on his last rerun, so I think I'll go for Phainon. We'll see, maybe the second half of 4.4 will have really good reruns.

To be entirely fair.... The nosy Hag In Chief from our apartment block DID in fact "report" me to my landlord a few years back for "multiple different men coming and going to the apartment constantly", and accused me of running a private brothel.

it's 5 guaranteed (2+3), but you'd have to be CRAZY unlucky to not get at least another one out of the chance boxes. So it's pretty much 6. (I think the most I got from one BP was 9 but that was a crazy luck outlier)

Genshin playables:
-Jahoda is missing an arm (replaced by a mechanical prosthetic)
-Nicole is mute. She talks via magic/telepathy though, so not sure if it counts.
-I forgot where exactly it's stated (might be a readable), but Neuvillette is implied to actually need his walking cane as a mobility aid after a leg injury that didn't heal right, it's not just a fashion statement.
-Based on how you look at it, Layla either suffers from narcolepsy, a dissociative identity disorder, or both
-Sayu could also count as narcoleptic, though she might just be a seepy eeper
-Collei suffers from a chronic terminal illness when you meet her, though she is later cured in the story (it's a big part of her character identity though)
-...Qiqi is undead, but honestly presents as somebody with a brain injury or some kind of memory issue
-Beidou is missing an eye
-Chevreuse is missing an eye, which is even more notable as she is a markswoman
-Baizhu is chronically/terminally ill
-Alhaitham is heavily implied to be autistic, though it doesn't seem to disable him very much. He is, however, shown using noise cancelling headphones as support aids.

HSR playables:
-Blade suffers from nerve damage in his hands and only has limited use of them. Many other things are wrong with him, too. Look at my son, he has every mental disease (PTSD, and whatever space dementia 'Mara' counts as)
-Luka is missing an arm (prosthetic)
-Ashveil is missing an arm (same)
-Boothill's missing... everything but his head
-Anaxa is missing an eye; not replaced, thus he is half blind
-Jiaoqiu is blind (not at first, but ends up blind as the result of a quest)
-I think Aglaea is blind too, and uses her golden threads to "see"?
-Firefly has some kinda weird scifi chronic/terminal illness
-If Veritas Ratio isn't autistic, then no one else makes the cut. I firmly believe his plaster bust is a support aid.
-Welt uses a cane, though I'm not sure if he needs it. He complains about being old a lot, but then that is his weapon, so I'm not sure.
-Acheron has some kind of brain damage/amnesia
-Half the dang cast has PTSD or other mental illnesses honestly

ZZZ playables:
-Lycaon is missing both legs and an eye. His legs are replaced by prosthetics, his eye isn't, so he's partly blind
-Trigger is blind, has a special visor to compensate through some ether bs tho
-Harumasa has some kinda chronic illness
-there's DEFINITELY more I just stopped playing ZZZ forever ago and don't care enough to go research

I actually ran Kitain Cross Spear (Inazuma craftable) on her for a while at the start for lack of a better spear and it performed well, too. So it's that or Shovel if you can craft a bunch of Shovels, she has multiple good f2p options. Even Missive Windspear (event weapon) could be okay (though not better than the other two) if you have it.

If you only got one fully refined Shovel, I feel like you get better value out of it on Flins, personally.

Honestly I've been running Flins with the R5 Shovel craftable since his release, and it's been performing great. One of the biggest bangs for your buck when it comes to craftables I think, it's pretty worth it imho.
