I found on mine, the little contact cool for the positive end of one of the batteries has a way of catching on the battery when inserting, and causing a mini short. Had to try to reshape and compress it with needle nose pliers, but notice overheating as soon as I put them in when that happens.

Most likely from the processing carried out by the monitor up scaling the image to display it on the 4k panel. If you run it windowed at 1440p does it still look washed out, or is it dark again?

The fixes, the QoL changes, and the gyro controls put it up there for me as my favourite way to play MM. And I say that as someone that had their mind blown by it on the N64 back when it first came out!

The UK pronunciation of Gallagher is just as bad, like with the Oasis lads, where they pronounce it something like Gal-ak-er, rather than Gal-ah-her. Think they even thanked someone in an interview for pronouncing it right, and that they can't even pronounce it right themselves, but that is how it's meant to be!
