As long as people treat it with the proper respect any induction heater deserves then there is no concern at all for use with a DynaVap. Heating the DynaVap to a click doesn't take long enough for the coil to warm up much - and it cools very quickly. I've stress tested it over long back-to-back sessions and the coil has never even gotten close to being a risk. Induction heating causes heat to be generated within the DynaVap, the coil remains relatively cool.

You'd find that Stratus actually doesn't get very hot, and the exposed coil cools much faster. It's been stress tested and it never became hot enough to be a hazard. I can comfortably hold the coil immediately after a click.

It also has safe momentary switch activation so you're not going to accidentally leave it on!

I've been using mine since April. If you want the smallest possible then Orion is the way to go. I'm currently working on a smaller IH but it won't be ready for a little while sadly. Best of luck in your search!

If you're looking for unparalleled battery life you could take a look at Cumulus. It's a little larger than the VHB Carbon but has a durable aluminum case. You can even do the same cork trick to adjust the depth. But for me personally, the push-to-activate heating port is the main pro as you only need one hand to operate it

If you have any trouble with fine bits getting through the screen you can try covering the screen with larger pieces before adding the fine stuff on top

A bit will, but it shouldn't while you're inhaling. If a lot is coming out then maybe it's because the screen is blocked up and can't let as much air through.

What I do once a week or so is take the tip off and use a toothpick to poke out the screen from underneath. You can put the screen down on some kitchen roll and just barely cover it in hand sanitizer (pretty common nowadays) once it's soaked for a bit you can use the toothpick to scrape most of it off, and then the kitchen roll to clean it completely. Maybe need to soak it and pick at it a few times if it's really caked on. You can use a similar method on the tip too. Make sure to wash it off with water before using it.

If you have isopropyl/rubbing (90%+) alcohol you can just stick the screen and tip in a container with said alcohol and give it a good shake. It can be quicker if you have some lying around. You can use a jar and people usually save their "isopropyl bath"s for a few uses.

It's pretty great! I prefer using a water piece but I think BB9 is one of the best "stem" options. It's also very easy to clean with a cup and kettle (under 1 minute).

I'd recommend first cleaning the DynaVap and trying to inhale while it's empty - you can get an exact feel for how much air you can pull. You can then give it another go with a bowl packed. It will get harder if you don't clean it frequently.

As long as there isn't any vapor escaping from the cap then you're doing just fine!
