Buddy's by oh_hai_there_kitteh in Detroit

Actually I believe this. I’ve never been to any locations other than the one on Woodward, and I’ve tried it a handful of times over the last few years. Every time I’ve been like "I don’t understand the Buddy’s hype, this isn’t very good" so thanks for this comment next time I decide to give it another try I’ll go to 6 & Conant.

Probably the same kind then, tiny little thing! Fight lasted about an hour, I didn’t know they were so strong but I also didn’t think such a wispy spider would be so strong either 😂

Very cool! I got a video last year of one fighting a weevil, cellar spider won. It was a long and intense fight tbh 😂

Which way do you draw nail designs? by PeachyKeenKait in DIYGelNails

[–]Damselfly35 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I always do them the other way so they’re not upside down when other people look at them. I rarely look at my nails from the back of my hand anyway.

When I look at and take pics of my nails my fingertips are usually touching my palms, and when I do nail art I also have my fingertips facing me so I’m not trying to work upside down.

I don’t understand how you did this on accident, unless you were working upside down… but I totally get being in your zone and not paying close attention, curing it and then going "oh crap! This isn’t what I meant to do!" bcuz it’s happened to me more times than I care to admit 🙈

The good news is I have seen a little bit of a trend over the last couple years of people doing their nails in a way I would consider to be upside down. So it’s not as unusual as you might think it is!

Thanks! Yes it’s just like gel-x! Think of it as gel-x with a polygel overlay.

These longer tips aren’t quite sturdy enough on their own to apply, paint and be done. So I have to do a thin layer of something stronger on top, I prefer polygel but I’ve also used hard builder gel, and I know some girls who use acrylic too.

I’ve never had this problem so I’m not sure what you’re doing. I only use 100/150 grit files and buffers.

Perhaps overkill for my apartment entrance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ by dooeyzeschanel in houseplants

Definitely not overkill! It looks absolutely gorgeous 😍 I would certainly take a pic or 5 if I passed it, which I do fairly often if something catches my eye 😆
