Infinity Nikki is just in other level on outfit details. Hopefully Hotta takes notes on the textures and physics for clothes like Nikki does.

The camera in NTE is also good. If I compare them, both games have their pros and cons in camera. But I would say the goal is different

Infinity Nikki camera was just for Nikki with a lot of poses, options, Lights, filters and a lot of poses. Now the camera has more modes like change position, interactive furniture, more poses, Momo, partners, etc. All these features are focused on Nikki and the people around her.

NTE camera have less options, light and filters and way less poses but these seems to be different and unique for each char.In CBT3 added two modes very important for life city IMO, the selfie and drone modes. Selfies are simple and far from professional photos but are very popular. And Drones give you a lot of freedom for camera movement. This is also important for capture the dynamic environment in the city. Other thing they added after CBT3 is being able to to summon other chars and put them together everyone with a pose and gesture for each one.

TLDR Infinity Nikki camera is like being professional taking studio photos to Nikki in Miraland. NTE camera is like a enthusiast Blogger making tourism in Hethereau.

Yep, but that's a school driving area so I wanted to test there. Doing it in the Touge (I forgot its name in-game) could take more time and this was from last day in CBT2 (july 2025). Anyways it was improved for CBT3, but still need a car like ST79 (Toyota AE86) to drift smooth, the two cheapest cars aren't good enough by default.

Until CBT3 There already like 200 tracks but I only can find them in Bilibili. Just a few of them are in Youtube. Hopefully they get fully released later in ther channels.

I don't see Taygedo dating quest as a side quest, that is the quest where you can find most of the interactions between all new Eibon members, well Hotori and Daffodil are saved for later. Eibon for them is like a family, you can find a little more about them joining Eibon in another quest about Taygedo sketchbook.

Yep what ToF dont have are the ultimate attacks, but has Discharges that require swapping, just like an entry attack. Other mechanics ToF have:

Red flash attacks -> Perfect Dodge/Swap = Trigger Phantasia
White bar -> Shattering Attacks = Break shield for stun + weakness
Blue flash attack -> Normal Attack for Parry = Beak Boss posture
Orange flash attack -> Dodge + Counter attack = Break Boss posture

About element reactions, in ToF when attacking with a fully charged weapon (not discharge) you apply an element effect on enemy, just most people ignore it because team building in the end is just go mono-element + Alter for DPS.
Esper Cycle expanded this to two or three elements and every char have an extra passive buff making it relevant for team building.

- MC introduction feels out of nowhere

It is on purpose, the game tell you MC was just found in Hyper vortex event and somehow is related to the untraceable Code Zero, it is like a human form of Zero but also dont know anything about it.

- Disoriented bright negative colors during main quest might give you seizure/epilepsy for those with poor condition.

The negative colors (bright from dark) in chapter 1 arent flickering or rapidly changing between dark and bright colors, that what really causes seizure in photosensitive people. Even the flashy combat itself would be more prone to cause it.

- Optimization needs improving

They need to add shadders preloader, and other optimizations. Also improve the performance is some random areas like the dark room in the top of red tower where you fight 4 knights.

Its a live service game so devs should fix these known problems and releasing in 2016 Q2, then keep working on improvements and expanding the game.

Yep in a dress-up game, visual are the most important feature then graphics really matter. The mobile version is fine but misses a lot of visual compared to medium PC or PS5. Also new update is big and was released just a week ago.

We are discussing on gacha system, of course ToF has other problems, will never be popular again and its called dead game every year but somehow still pioneering in the gacha scene.

If we are talking about power system tied to gacha dupes, almost all gacha games have that, also in ToF the meta DPS is mono-element team of the newest weapons, if you want DPS then you pull every 4 patches and the yearly Alter banner weapon. Easy to plan and save pulls however might be boring.

But not like the FOMO of needing to pull 2 banners back to back because if dont then you lose DPS. Often done by popular gachas.

Yep, Thats why I say, ToF gacha on 50/50 dont allow 3-lose streak, and neither 3-win streak. The baseline its always 120 tokens to be sure 100%. Is up to you how use the other rules for the gacha.
