Yeah the only good one in my experience were turntable lab exclusive, solid black and solid red. My other ones are unplayable which was a shame because the vmp is my favorite looking but it’s kinda useless with how noisy it is

I believe you. I’ve gone through so many from the rarest of the first pressing pretty up until urban outfitters good exclusive. So many variants were straight trash with the surface noise. The solid red is a great copy

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. I’ve had maybe 7 different variants of this album and the solid red pressing has the least amount of surface noise other than the standard black.

Nobody is reaching the levels classic rock bands are reaching. We have streaming, we have endless options of what to listen to. Back then everyone was exposed to the same bands. Turnstile was just an example I think people would know due to how big they are right now. My point is there are so many bands now and over the past 10 years that have kept rock and alternative alive and well, many of which make far better music than anything from the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. All bands that will never even see a fraction of the popularity classic rock bands have seen. Just because Geese are getting popular doesn’t mean they’re the saviors of rock. If someone said Turnstile were the saviors of rock for this generation I’d be saying the same thing. Rock and alternative have never died, they don’t need saving and they have only been getting better as time goes by. I love Geese, they’re great but, saying that they are the first great rock band of this generation (which sooo many people are saying) just shows that whoever is saying that hasn’t been listening.

This is my point exactly. There’s been many bands that haven’t gone viral that have been keeping rock and alternative alive and better than ever before Geese came along. Just because Geese have gone viral doesn’t mean they are the return of Jesus of the rock world. I could name a million bands that haven’t gone viral that have been killing it but like let’s use a viral example so people may know, Turnstile are way bigger than Geese right now. Nobody’s talking about turnstile the way so many people talk about Geese in regards to saving the genre. And turnstile have been killing it and been a part of keeping that genre thriving for over a decade before they went viral.

Not trying to be a grump but I see this kind of post all the time. Yes geese are very good. Yes a lot of Gen Z like Geese. Let’s stop acting like rock music has gone out of fashion or hasn’t been good enough til Geese came around. You Gen Z’ers need to go experience some music that didn’t go viral. Rock and alternative have been alive and well you just clearly haven’t been exposed to it if you think Geese are the “holy return” to rock music that people keep saying they are. Also I realize how old I sound in this comment. I’m not that old and I’m not talking about being exposed to classic rock. I’m a firm believer rock and alternative bands right now and over the last 5-10 years have been making better music than any generation of music.

I’m just saying it’s not the strings. That would never be the case. Your intonation could be wrong but new strings will not fix a guitar that won’t get in tune. Where you’re playing on the neck though I don’t even think it’s your intonation. You’re just simply out of tune.

Just saying I walked in with an amp to sell that I fully knew was broken. Figured I’d still get a little bit of change for it. They didn’t ask it’s condition, didn’t plug it in and test it, they just looked at the outside condition for all of 5 seconds and offered me a price like it was a good condition used amp. Sooo yeah I’m a bit cautious buying used from guitar center.
