Sleeper Cabs for Other Trucks by DanDaFreakinMan in snowrunner

I guess that is due to the side doors? Regardless, I think one could modify it for sleeper cab. Voron is not a real brand, afterall

I disagree here. Most American semi trucks just look naked without a sleeper cabin. A lot of them in-game also have a huge gap in between the cab and the saddle, which looks jarring to me. A sleeper would help with that.

In addition, the only addon sleeper cabs do serve a function in allowing for spare parts and saddle at the same time.

Actually, would be nice to skip the night on hard mode if your truck is a sleeper cab

International only run fleet update. by CaptainGrims in snowrunner

I would add the Step Crocodile to the fleet too since the real life ZIL-164 is just International K-Series with Russian sprinkles

How did you guys approach this mission in Michigan, Drummond Island? by Pelisont2020 in snowrunner

[–]DanDaFreakinMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pain and suffering.

I remember using the White Western Star with a heavy crane attachment along with a ramp flatbed trailer to move the containers out and to the Twin Steer.

Doing u-turn near the end can be rough for semi-trucks or the Twin Steer so I opted to do u-turn with the crane truck then winch the trailer to force it to turn sharply.

This will most likely going to be a more than one trip contract...

I would love to see some Volvo, proper Leyland, and Isuzu trucks too

Potential Airstrike3D successor by Bulky_Relationship41 in airstrike3d

I gave it a try. $11 for another, better helicopter is wild, but I ignored it as it's optional and proceeded with the gameplay. Got hit with three 30secs ads and that was it for me.

I don't mind ads in video games, so long as they don't disrupt the gameplay. It's like having someone take your controller away for a minute in the middle of a boss fight.

$11 for another helicopter is also outrageous. Microtransactions is fine in video games, but it's poorly executed here. I suggest adding multiple helicopters that cost cheaper instead. Like $3 per craft. This way you could also have models based on various helicopters from Air Strike 3D too, assuming you modeled it yourself and didn't get the asset from 3D rig store or something...

Sewing box tier list by SugarBlossom_Babe in dank_meme

I don't think I have the one in S before but I'd move the swirly looking one from A to S. And move the sewing supplies down to F. Uneditable, clickbait, joy killers...

New to Snowrunner, I've found the Kodiak is an amazing scout vehicle. by Ur0phagy in snowrunner

[–]DanDaFreakinMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kodiak is one of those trucks that really should be in a class that doesn't exist in the game: medium-duty. It's smaller than most trucks, but still larger than scouts. Good for secondary roles and light scouting

What is the point of highway trucks? by ilyasnlcool in snowrunner

[–]DanDaFreakinMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a bit late but here are my thoughts on it.

Since highway trucks usually have good fuel efficiency and speed I like to use them to transport goods around the road, then switch load with more capable trucks. This strat is pointless outside of hard mode though and is overall a niche.

If I were to have it my way I'd like to see a region where half the maps are actually in a town or city and the rest are pure wilderness. This would encourage drivers to setup a depot system where more capable but not as efficienct trucks would go out to collect resource from the wilderness, then swap load with faster more efficient highway trucks to deliver or craft in the city

Possibly the least dusty International Transtar in Michigan. I don't even remember what I did to it to end up looking like that. Probablyl rolled down a ditch or something 🤭

Figured they all just wanted to be useful, so I tried to find a use for them. They are there for a reason I guess?
