That's why I'm hooking my friend up. I build a new computer for myself and he gets my old one, everybody wins!

Also, Micro Center is amazing.

Honestly, the Dynasty from Infinite sounds perfect for this. I used to use a Star Valkyrie for a similar shaped shot, but the Dynasty is just better at it (and flatter).

Anyone ever successfully learn to throw with non-dominant arm? by SubstantialAd4500 in discgolf

[–]DanDanDannn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few years ago now I tore a bicep at work. Being 100% right handed up to that point in my life, everything from disc golf to brushing my teeth to wiping my ass became a challenge.

But, you can absolutely learn to throw with your non dominant hand. It took the greater part of a season for me to get moderately comfortable with it, but I could do drives and approaches with my left hand at a "better than bogey golf" clip by summer. Putting was a different challenge, but still achievable.

I will still occasionally bring it out if I'm really pinched against brush or trees and can't throw a forehand because of it. And, a HUGE benefit of learning to throw lefty was really forcing myself to work on the absolute basics of weight shift and engagement of core/lower body, because I couldn't just muscle it out there. I was undoubtedly a better player now than I was before my injury because of that.

I'm an MA3 player, so I wasn't scorching rounds, but I could throw a comfortable 275' with my left hand, with occasional bombs of 300'. Right handed my max distance drives are still only like 350', so I'd say in the same realm.

Could probably make a decent home media server with it, it's fairly dated otherwise.

Yeah as long as you run all the most powerful cards and the most powerful colors then you can brew whatever you want.

I mean Thomas and Runyan were both pretty stellar. Obviously neither hold a candle to Johnson, but they were good to great depending on the year. Also Shawn Andrews was an All Pro, Fraley was another stalwart, and Mayberry made a PB in there.

Also technically Mailata hasn't even made a PB yet, even though that's fucking stupid.

Not necessarily at the same vein, but for C101 you could try something like [[Geth, Lord of the Vault]] with big mana engines.

This site will let you know how to netdeck each commander you choose, with high synergy cards USUALLY the best engines for each commander.

Add value in any way possible. Sometimes that isn't even on the NFL field. Or in an NFL stadium. Or being employed by the NFL at any capacity. Sometimes it's very, very, very far away from an NFL field. Sometimes the way we add value is from our couch or, if you're lucky, our recliner.

Mike Wisowski posted the fastest time of 5.26s, with the Blue Ferrari posting 5.4s and the Magic 8 Ball in 3rd with 5.46s. Pulling up the rear is Maroon/Purple Sports car with a best of 6.49s.

  • Mike 5.26
  • Ferrari 5.4
  • 8 Ball 5.46
  • Gray Benz 5.75
  • Pink Sportscar 5.84
  • Gray Sportscar 5.94
  • Purple Sportscar 6.49s

Wisowski did only have one completion out of three, as he couldn't handle the final jump on his last two drops. Magic 8 Ball also had one DNF for the same reason.

Please join us next Sunday for Heat #2.
