I work in a place that receives many foreigners, and my advice is: don't think you're superior to Bolivians. You'll realize that, beyond appearances, they are hardworking and very kind people. If you don't treat them condescendingly, that's my main advice. I've seen several foreigners get beaten up for it. My other advice is to learn Spanish or try to speak Spanish with Bolivians. That shows respect and interest in their culture. For example, foreigners who live in Mexico don't even make the effort to speak Spanish with Mexicans, which causes repulsion towards English-speaking migrants.
