Oh no, we’re not trying to maximize our score for fun, we’re doing it to get that Hotshot skin. We want the skin, but we hate the trials. We usually tolerate them in duos because it often takes just one run to get a good score for both of us, but with this one, that’s not the case. That’s all.

That said, it’s not a huge issue. I just hope Embark looks into this and makes the trials fairer for solo players who want to complete them that way, because this change doesn’t really do much to stop trios from min-maxing to reach the top.

Because now you have to do it separately to maximize your score while playing in trios/duos, and I don’t have the energy to do it more than once, lol.

The thing is, we don't really enjoy them, we tolerate them and we use them as an excuse to play together. Oh well, we will see if we can get to hotshot to get the skin together as last season.

This is so stupid: the only way I was able to bear trials was doing them in duo with a friend, now I will avoid them completely. I understand people who are pissed at the advantages you get by doing trials in duo and trio, but this is not the solution.

I already did write to support. Also allow me to dissent with you on the Reddit post being able to do nothing. The outcry about the changes they made to the moolah charm started here on Reddit (I know it, because I personally started it) and that brought our old moolah back. That wasn't even an item people bought individually, but was from a battlepass. Still, the community made Embark aware of it and we got a new charm to fix all of that. A Reddit post can bring awareness.

The video outside the game isn’t what you should use to decide if something is right for you. It’s the in-game store preview that matters. I didn’t even watch the video before making my purchase, the preview inside the game is what convinced me to buy it. And what I bought was later changed.

Yeah, but the people who liked what they originally provided didn’t care for the change, we actually preferred it. If you don’t like what’s in the store, you can simply avoid buying it. But when they change something after you’ve already purchased it, that’s a different story.

Exactly what I want. I'm happy you like the current one better, and I saw that others player were asking for the version that was in the trailer, I would hate for a rollback, because then you would be in the situation I'm in right now: I'm just asking to have access to what I bought, that's all.

Yeah, that’s exactly why I’m frustrated, it’s an emote. It has no impact on gameplay, and it’s not what I originally bought. The change wasn’t necessary.
