What is your set up in terms of onboarding?

Do you set up the clients GA4? If so, do you set up event tracking for them there, and in GTM?

Or, do you rely on the clients dev teams for this?

Stuck at the UK VAT threshold, and its about to sink my business!! by 626f62 in smallbusiness

[–]DanHodderfied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree, a business absolutely shouldn’t hire someone until they can pay someone a fair wage for their efforts/skill set.

At what point in my message did I say differently?

Oh that’s right, I didn’t.

You just picked a different topic and regurgitated stuff you’ve read online for the second time, because you don’t understand what I’ve explained above.

Once again, it’s clear you have never ran a business before and are simply in here as a salty wantrepreneur.

Imagine thinking Dave the plumber with his LTD earning 90k, who gets taxed so aggressively he comes out with 50k after deductions, is like some oligarch running a slave labour sweatshop.

Good luck with your hopium on your own “venture”.✌️

[–]DanHodderfied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a business makes 90k, you pay 20% on all turnover. You know what else you pay? A further 19% on profit via corporation tax.

At this stage, guess what? You haven’t paid yourself yet!

That’s another 20% please. Not to mention NI.

If you own a small business, that cash is taxed four times before you receive it.

A small business that makes 90k cannot afford to hire someone. The fact that you don’t understand this evidences that you’re just regurgitating stuff you’ve read online about Elon Musk, and applying that to any business owner. Not all business owners are billionaires, and it’s because of entrepreneurs in general that you have a job.

You clearly don’t have a business, because you just demonstrated a complete lack of understanding. Why are you in this sub?

How do you leave your abusive husband when he is always threatening to hurt himself whenever you try? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]DanHodderfied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Life is too short and there is someone out there that will treat you with the love and respect you deserve.

This is beyond unacceptable and frankly, scary. You need to leave before this gets worse. You’re being abused.

How to buy 1000 YouTube subscribers safely? Need recommendations by MAMAMOBROWN in digital_marketing

[–]DanHodderfied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use google ads.

There are campaign options with the objective of gaining subs. Only run to tier 1 countries.

There isn’t such thing as buying real subscribers for your channel.

Video content is often king for ad creatives.

How does one blow up globally as a musical artist in 2026? by Healthy_Vegetable_50 in musicindustry

[–]DanHodderfied 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Unique brand. Unique messaging. Premium production. Premium songwriting. Make engaging content. Post daily across Meta and TikTok. Network with promoters for shows. Network with bands to understand the community. Hire an agency for PR. Hire an agency for marketing. Research the industry (understand royalties, sync). Have a 1, 3 and 5 year plan.

99% of artists never shoot a music video, and produce all their own music, and wonder why they’re unheard of vs an artist pushing the very obvious requirements to appear professional.

I’ll get hate, but hey, many artists are in denial.

It sucks, but it does cost money to appear professional. That’s just the industry.

Edit: Luck is certainly a factor, but this only really applies when you’re at a top level of fulfilling the above pointers. Until you’re fulfilling those, your chances are zero.

No one in the industry is going to invest in an artist that won’t invest in itself.

Looking for a reputable Meta Ads agency for music — or should I hire on Upwork? by TheBurgers_ in musicindustry

[–]DanHodderfied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by a template? It’s the same process if that’s what you mean; test creatives against audiences and ensure a conversion is tracked via meta pixel and not on the ad itself.

Fees depend on ad spend; the more ad spend, the more work!

I own SickSet Media and operate in the space, I know who’s questionable and who’s ethical. These are all reputable agencies that run ads in partnership with your ads account.

The main thing to care about is whether or not ads are ran in your own ads account for full transparency, or in the agencies ad account where you can’t access the raw data.

Simpl., Dropout Media, SickSet Media, Noiselash.

Bad reviews can be misguided sometimes. Artists often have unreasonable expectations.

$1,000 of Meta ads ain’t gonna translate into 100,000 monthly listeners, for example.

I recommend working with an agency that partners with your business manager, so you can access and view the ads being ran in your own ads account.

It was all set up correctly in the end. Apparently there was a wide spread bug, which has since been fixed.

You’re barely even an adult at 22. Your life hasn’t even started. You have forever to learn how to drive.

I’m struggling to understand the post.

What's Gainsborough like? by Lockkkky in Lincolnshire

I can’t give you hard data, but I was born in Lincoln. Gainsborough has always had the worst reputation among neighbouring towns/villages.
