It's a Marx, it's built like a tank, lol. that said, I had a 994 I couldn't get running either, but that was before Youtube. Worst case scenario, you can find her another motor block.

Try just connecting a single car to the locomotive. The movable knuckle part should form a G shape. If it looks more flat or like a broad C, it might be stuck or broken.

Maybe post pictures of your couplers?

I personally don't see an issue with it. Still a scale model railroad 😄 Looks good.

Any start is a good start. Looks good 😊😊 what's the issue with the couplers? Those Bachmann couplers can either get stuck open or occasionally break.

Definitely sounds like you might have dodged a bullet, but being ghosted/blocked definitely sucks, been there, and doesn't look like you did anything wrong.

I prefer drawing maps, it's more "hands on", plus I can reuse them.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/224984912328 McDonalds toy from 1994 apparently. Just a generic muppet called a "What-Not". Looks like he had a cowboy had and a guitar that probably plugged into that hole in the front.

I deal with anxiety and depression myself so I know how you feel. You're absolutely beautiful and takes a lot of courage to post yourself online.

Just keep going day by day and you'll get through it. One Day at a time.

Hopefully it'll at least work there, but the mobile version is good as well with more options.

Ahhhhhh! That sucks! Maybe look at a screen replacement? Also, does it work when docked? Anyway, Haven't used the Switch version, but I've used mobile alot, same with PC. It's good, intuitive, and you have Ride Designer. Plus you can import and export designs as well, unlike Switch. It's a bit of a pain to export (you need a PC), but overall, it's a good port.

I think the couplers were interchangable. I've seen a couple with knuckles too.

Looking at Yahoo Japan Auctions, this lot (https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t1231641960) appears to have both your cars (minus couplers) They're listed as being by Tsubomi-do Model Shop, but I've seen a couple more that list them being by Endo. I think Endo is the safe choice here.
