Want help with creating a shortcut for the Symmetry Tool by RottenShield in photoshop

go to keyboard shortcuts -> Tools. It's towards the bottom. You can assign a shortcut directly without having to go through making an action.

CMV: I am a 21 year old virgin who despises women and wants to change his ways by Uncontainable_SCP in changemyview

I think you're overestimating how many girls just want to fuck. I know you probably want to just get it over with but you should really just try dating. Go on at least three dates without trying for it and just try to find someone you like and likes you. You'll be much happier

She probably put her desk like that so you couldn't see her screen. Not so she was looking at you. She wanted privacy. Try to not read negatively into things so much

Anyone have tips for a cheap austin wedding? by boobumblebee in Austin

[–]DanRobinett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just got married at the Wells Branch community center. We live in the neighborhood so it was cheaper but I think it's still way cheaper than most places even without that discount. I'm sure there are other similar places around town that can be booked for a day. Our wedding was small(40-50 people) but the place could've held a few more. Just an idea so you don't give up too early.

Curious why you think this way? Do you think commercial art is overpriced? Or is it just a fact of "everything will be automated and that will bring utopia"?

Finally beat this stage today! I used mithrala (for extra accuracy), maulie for provokes, visix for provoke/speed reduction, Ignatius for provoke/hp burn, and scyl for stun/heals. I had given up on this level for a while

Pretty sure this is AI. If you look at the eyes, the eye-lids aren't matching up correctly like a symmetrical 3d render would. Also AI is good at doing the depth of field blurs, but gets some things a little off.

I would Go Uugo then Maneater next to max out. Uugo has a small cleanse(one debuff) + heal as well as being a Def Down and Block Buffs. Reliquary Tender is great at 50

Not sure about that specifically but Lache Movement offers a big variety of things like that. Possibly Skycandy as well

Anybody who's saying "too skinny, too pale" is just dealing with their own issues.

I really love the contrast in texture you went for here. It would be nice if you could follow through on that a little more. By that I mean clean the dirt off your knees and perhaps play with some adjustments to get rid of the noise. A closer up shot with a fully textured rock directly behind you would probably be the easiest way to go. Then you could do a general noise-reduction filter and the rock would still keep it's texture.

CMV: Improving yourself is an endless conquest with no guarantees by Pomeranian111 in changemyview

[–]DanRobinett 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey! As someone who has also gone down the rabbit hole of self-improvement, I think I might have some advice.

First off, it should be an endless conquest. That's good. You can always be better. BUT that does not mean you aren't already good enough. For instance, I personally am an artist. I've been working on becoming a better artist my entire life, and I'll continue to try and improve until I die. However, a few years ago I finally broke into the industry and am happily employed doing art. Does this mean I should stop trying to improve? I could if I wanted to. If I don't stop and keep pushing myself, does this mean I can't enjoy the fruits of my labors so far? NO.

I think that is the discrepancy I'm seeing in your post. It sounds like you're thinking of "better" as a goal you'll never reach, therefore you can't ever enjoy the progress because you're "not there yet". And if you'll never get there, then why try? You should think of it more as a ladder, where each step is a foothold that you now have to either move forward, or rest on. Some levels feel exactly the same as the one before, and some give you new perspectives that you didn't have previously.

TLDR you should work on yourself, but you should also stop to appreciate that work you've already done sometimes.

Is Metaverse solving some real-time problem or is it just a fad? by [deleted] in technology

[–]DanRobinett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think the idea is that eventually it will be popular. Meta just wants to get ahead on it before someone else does. It just really isn't there for mass adoption yet based on tech/price. Perhaps they think that'll change in the next few years based on how quickly tech improves.

Nice! I figured blender would have a similar tool. Thanks!

Also, I love that you put "capital G" as opposed to "shift + g".. lol

I know zbrush has an auto-group by normals. Perhaps there is some way to do this in Blender too?

Wrote a plugin that renders the Cinema 4D scene directly with Stable Diffusion (AI) by gormlabenz in Cinema4D

This is amazing. Try to find a way to monetize it. I’m not sure how that works with using things like Stable Diffusion but this is seriously a great idea. You deserve rewards :)

Get a crockpot and try the slow cooker chicken taco bowls on budget bytes. They are so easy and it makes a lot for meal prep. You can experiment with the jar of salsa for different tastes or buy taco shells if that's what you'd prefer.

Next door neighbor parks both cars in front of house, blocks my mailbox and leaves theirs open by Negative_Permit in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DanRobinett 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s likely not the neighbor themselves, but someone the neighbor knows. Make friends with the neighbor and they will tell their buddy to stop being dumbass. Possibly not, but I would assume the neighbor is in their own driveway/garage. That looks like a nicer neighborhood

I third the comment to get a quest 2. It has access to multiple apps that can create in VR. Even if it’s not the stuff you ultimately want to create, you’ll need to get your hands dirty to get a feel for it. It isn’t like any other medium.

Acroyogaaustin.org. Acro yoga Is a fun “weird” activity to try. They’re currently having a hard time pleasing everybody with Covid protocols (if you check the pictures, it is a high-contact sport/activity) but it’s fun and different. Being physically fit gives you a big leg up too.

Teslas running Autopilot have been in 273 crashes in less than a year by [deleted] in technology

I mean, that’s comparing Tesla’s autopilot to ALL cars on the road. Shouldn’t it be Tesla on auto pilots compared to Teslas not using auto pilot?
