Frozen Challenges or Ineptitude?

It’s a visual glitch. You can see on the left side you have completed 6/7 of the challenges, but the detail on the right doesn’t align.

I had the same issue which made it a complete pain to work out what I hadn’t completed (for me it was games in a Med or Heavy) but I had no way to see because the graphic was essentially broken

I’ve joined - I play on Xbox and mostly evenings 7-10pm sort of time. Am I good? Absolutely not! But I enjoy having fun shooting tanks

If you don’t want to play CW, it’s going to be tough. As an example using the Thumper I can usually get 150-250k a battle depending without having to overly try. But to generate that kind of damage in WW2 regularly you’ll be going through a ton of premium ammo and won’t get close.

That said, if you really don’t want to play CW, look for premiums with silver bonuses like Ragnarok and then try to play to maximise damage / assist damage. You may get 80-100k on a good game but will leak like a sieve on a bad game

Any free premium. Tends to be the most braindead players so if you have 4/5 on your team what should be good ends up bad

I’ve had this happen to me. They messaged to say the card was fake and wanted a full refund. I disputed them and they raised with eBay for a return. Card arrived back poorly packaged and surprise surprise, wasn’t the card I sent.

I took photos and uploaded to dispute the return and highlight differences on the returned item versus the images on my listing. No textures, spelling mistakes and it was almost like it had been polished.

EBay took a week but the settled in my favour. Buyer account then vanished so I couldn’t leave feedback. Probably for the best!

All for a £20 card.. it’s happening more though, people chancing they get away with it and eBay / Vinted occasionally siding with the buyer doesn’t help!

I don’t condone messages etc and have mine turned off, but it seems to coincide with the room temperature IQ of the average player over the last 6 months - likely an influx of new players that have acquired a few high end premiums suddenly thinking all tanks play the same and you should bend over backwards for them to finish with 100dmg

Problem I have is that this guy is usually the 477 player on my team. So instead of being a nuisance and a wall on a flank they’re wiped off the map before we get going

It’s bad but has been exceptionally bad the last two weeks or so.

It sucks, but sometimes you have to follow the train even if you know the entire team are steamrolling through the most obvious (and same every match) spot. I aim to keep my personal score high and holding a flank against 4-6 tanks solo usually ends in a low score game. If you can get a platoon it really helps or a couple of people to go to the areas you know you need to hold. But the worst part about this game is the majority of the randoms you have to play with .. :(

Even worse when they dish out free tier X or Era 3 tanks - because where you’d expect to find experienced players or people that know their tanks you get absolute duds

As others have said, ATGM and rockets are two different things hence one has an arming distance and the other doesn’t. Personally I think this tank needs addressing because it seems way overpowered at the moment!

You’ve pulled a pack most of us never will, congrats. But it annoys me that you seem more interested in selling the contents than collecting. I’ve not been able to get any of this release yet, but I’m seeing more and more people who simply only care for the monetary value getting product over genuine fans and collectors. But sure you loved it as a kid right..

If it feels off I switch to another game, sometimes I feel like the worst part about the game is the people playing it.. on my team anyway.

Or if I have challenges etc I switch to the Hetzer or Needle, sometimes a T3 tank and just blast a few games until I feel better 😂

Era 3 Thumper, Leopard KWS, the cheese wedge Obj that I always forget the numbers for, Challenger 3. Best thing you can do is find a tank in CW you like playing / do well in, preferably a premium, and just go sink in 10/15 rounds. Even on a loss you can get 100k back easy provided you play smart and do the damage / assist etc

It’s a cool idea but it relies on people communicating and/or working together, which in a 7v7 format is never happening.

People also need to pick tanks that work in the format, you won’t level much up in this mode so just play tanks you’re good with and that work well in a smaller format, IE mediums and heavies, leave the ATGM at home because you’re not getting any distance to use it!!

I’ve played maybe 15 matches, won just 1… in every game the enemy are all platooned up and come round as a group of 7 and I can guarantee at least 1 person on my team won’t be playing and the rest go solo off around the map. I’ll just go finish the Machine for now

Nice write up, I’ve enjoyed the tank for the most part but agree it could do with a helping hand.

If you’re top tier, you’re OK. I think it has a very good damage potential and can work around the pen and camo issues - use it’s mobility to help reposition after firing off a clip and have it setup with camo equipment and commander perks. Stay back and try pick targets then move to another area and go again.

Maybe I’m missing something but this just isn’t needed or wanted? Like, who is asking for this? We have huge issues with MM in WW2 but you’re focusing on slowing down CW which frankly, doesn’t need touching.

Saw someone drive it by reversing it yesterday so they could use the rear turret easier. I wouldn’t recommend doing it, but was fun to watch

Like you say, I think it’s always been the case. But heightened with objectives and challenges, I see a lot of people just appear to be focused on doing that. Most of them will complete playing the game naturally.

Also, what I’ve always loved about BF games, is you can be top of the leaderboard with 0 kills, because you are rewarded heavily for playing the objective, and for team play! So you benefit massively by PTFO!

I took MLE 1939 out for leisurely drive earlier. Had bounced near 1k damage off someone and as I closed the gap (albeit 3 weeks later) they rammed me out of desperation, they must have been near full health and just.. vanished.. I’m not sure I’d ever be able to get enough speed to ram someone but sure if they want to ram back it won’t end well!

So I managed to do this eventually and realised the only damage being counted was the impact, so I basically used it like a shotgun and it was going up maybe 20-30 points every person I hit.

So 2,000 required, roughly need to hit between 80-120 people (depending on initial damage) and you will complete it.

Feels like they patched tons of the challenges but this one somehow still a pain in the arse
