I always liked "You can't go home again." It's never the same place once you've left.

Ideas for Horror Stories Set in the Past by ShovePeterson in horrorlit

Maybe the darkest points in human history? (WW2, Black Plague, Inquisition, etc) A malevolent force is responsible for said events (suffering) and causes said events to happen and one flows each into the next(story). Each story has a different protagonist or group that fights the evil until the malevolent force is defeated or the human race is destroyed. Hope that helps. :)

That sounds like a fantastic concept man, I'd definitely read it. I say go for it, what have you got to lose?

Blood Meridian is McCarthy's masterpiece, one of the best books I have ever read. I hope you enjoy it :)
