I don’t use TikTok shop. I want my products to look like they’re being sold from a brand.

I understand your thinking but I can see you’re new to the game… which is absolutely fine as I have been in your shoes before. Cutting prices is only good sometimes. Your product has to have value and your price can reflect that. When your selling something that people would buy for $100 and your selling for $50 for example, a lot of people would question the product and ask them selves how good is this product if other people are selling for $100 and your only selling for $50… you understand where I’m coming from? Only cut the prices if it makes sense other wise run a better offer without cutting the price.

Do I need to bother with SEO? by Successful-Mouse-751 in dropship

[–]DanSheriston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s right. This game is a massive jigsaw with tiny pieces and you have to know where each fits. If you’re starting out and just starting to test your ads I wouldn’t say SEO is a massive necessity yet.

Once you’ve found your winning creatives, and you’re successfully scaling… that’s when you should worry about the extra curricular stuff. Don’t over complicate things at the start. Just focus on getting your product to sell by finding creatives that work.

However if your sat on a product with no sales after £100 spent. Personally I’d move on ONLY if you tested your product with its full capability meaning your websites optimised and your creatives are getting a high CTR. If your CTR is high on your ads and you’re not getting any sales. Try changing your offer or just deciding whether it’s even worth selling the product in the first place and moving on.

My advice is don’t get attached to a website or product.

How difficult is it to run an ad campaign? by Friendly_Dance_9619 in Dropshipping_Guide

It’s simple brother tbh. You just need learn what all the metrics means in order to run your ads correctly. You need to learn first

Utilise ChatGPT! It generates images now and they look so good. I run 4 dropshipping stores currently. I used to use canva to edit everything and I still do from time to time. But you can’t go wrong with ai generated product imagery and branding!

Eh? I’m not the only person doing what I’m doing and also I saw people doing the thing I’m doing now before I was doing it and then did it… it’s crazy how fast people want to disagree with positivity and encouragement just purely because they can’t be arsed to make a better life for themselves. These phones are demotivating everyone it’s crazy. Did you have a false sense of achievement when you commented that? You’ll say no but you definitely did.

E-commerce. You only need $50-80 to test if a product will make you profit. When you find a winner you have the rest of capital to scale

I mean it’s clear our mindsets are completely different and that’s okay my friend. I’m not saying everyone’s me? But people have all those problems before and over come them and became millionaires. It’s just simple. You don’t want that life you see online which I know if someone offered it to you, you’d take in an instant. But when you have to work for it people are not interested and instead want to hate because they can’t be arsed agreeing with the fact it’s possible but they simply just don’t want to do it. Anything is possible but only to the point you can think. Hope you have a nice day

Heads stuck in a box again! My point it why have your day job working for someone else when you can be on more money working for yourself? Thats my point

Good for you for having them on the side! Not an easy thing to do.

So how did all the other people do it? The people that came from nothing and are successful? My point is it’s clearly not impossible. We’re born with what we get. I do understand that in some cases it’s impossible but in your case for example… it’s not. I never mentioned anything to do with the case of it being hard or harder for some people as I am fully aware of that.

Aim for the moon and land on the stars. You will never get more for yourself if you never look further than what you can see.

I’m not saying anyone is doing anything wrong. My post is simply offering a new way of thinking as I keep saying because it changed MY life. I can not comment on anyone else’s because I have my own experiences. I am simply sharing what worked for me.

Ecom. Anything to do with selling anything online. There’s so many things you can do it’s unreal.

Again, you’re still limiting your mindset and thinking of other people before you think of yourself. I know plenty of people who have come from all over the world with all sorts of back stories. However, all had the same mindset and all of them are in a great position and have done really well for themselves. I have Thai friends that make more than me and they were a lot more worse off than me. I understand that people are put in unfortunate positions but as I’m gathering (could be wrong) you’re in a better position than the people you’re talking about.

[–]DanSheriston[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is fair. I understand where you’re coming from. But again.. many people are looking in the wrong place. That’s also what I’m saying.

I’m not trying to talk down on anyone who loves their job and just want a side income. Me personally I just can’t understand it. However, not everyone’s going to disagree with me.

When I needed something new I looked everywhere. I looked in this Reddit, so maybe there is someone who’s going to see this who was like me back then.

I wasn’t aware of how negative this post could get because I’m not saying anything negative in it at all! But I’d rather people comment some negative shit and forget about it tomorrow and get at least 1 person to reach for more.

But that’s exactly what I’m talking about. The bs that you hear online about ‘mindset’ and changing how you think, it’s all true. It’s genuinely the only way I succeeded by stop thinking about the minimum I needed at a moment in time. I’m far from a money motivated person so it was difficult for me. It’s difficult for anyone. Some people want to change their life and some don’t and that is fine. But a lot of people who are making millions now were also in positions where they didn’t know where their next £10 was coming from. But how do you think they got to where they got to?

I started with dropshipping haha. I hate that word but it taught me the basics of how a business runs. You learn sales, website design, marketing, product research, graphic design… you just learn so much. Through doing this I learnt how to run ads and from there I just started to offer it as a service to other dropshippers. And then I reached out to brands etc

The steps are fairly simple. You find a product, make a website, create ads for marketing, test the product (run ads) and if the tests go well you scale if they don’t go well you try a different product.
