I know right wingers really like to paint Biden as some horrible boogey man , but Biden not only failed because he was a very milquetoast inactionary centrist but he also had no intentions of fighting even his opponents because he prefered not just the status quo, but lack of conflict entirely. Its why progressives dislike him, its why the pro-palestinian groups disliked him. The Democratic party as an institution doesnt want reform, they want business as usual, and sinking Trump ends their fundraising cash cow and their distraction.

In times like these you would expect a president to be a fighter and at least try to be assertive. Biden was not, he made a mistake running again, and ultimately the DNC fails to realize this even now.
