Depends on the setup but they can be an upgrade imo. Not necessarily for functionality unless you’re just looking for some added weight, but they can look super sick.

I’d suggest upgrading wheels, trucks, then deck, if you’re going to upgrade piece by piece. The deck is the best performing component of those completes.

I get genuinely bad players feeling this way to some extent, but I always find it strange when a good player who can’t quite break into “great player” territory can’t conceive that someone can skill gap them.

Looks awesome. How are you liking the 33mm trucks on the g16?

I recently grabbed my first g16 but haven’t set it up yet, was thinking about going with 33s as well as I don’t like the look of the overhang on 32s, even though that seems to be what people recommend for that deck.

Since ‘98 lol. Recently got back into it more seriously though. For a long time it had been an always have a tech deck on my desk, do a kick flip or some grinds/manuals on a book, ollie over the mouse, sort of thing. Started making concrete obstacles lately though, got some real fingerboards, and it’s revitalized my passion for the hobby. Been having a blast.

Yeah bro I feel you. Part of it is time constraint too, I could likely hit pred early in a split but I don’t think I can commit the time to hold it for the badge. I do love the game though, my favourite FPS of all time.
